Though he usually focuses criticism on Democrats, top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh is scorching Republicans as “clueless” in their efforts to stop President Obama and his health-care agenda, and what he expects to be its “disastrous” impact on everyday life in America.

“We’re left with Obamacare, and we are left with a damaged Constitution, and we have a Republican leadership that’s clueless in how to slow any of this down,” Limbaugh said this afternoon.

“If this keeps going this way, we’re going to lose it all, folks. Unless some people get their heads in the game and focus on what really happened here and what really is happening, we’re going to go down the tubes.”

Limbaugh says last week’s 5-4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court upholding President Obama’s signature legislation is disastrous, severely harming the Constitution.

“And apparently it hasn’t sunk in yet in the Republican establishment how outrageously bad this is,” he explained.

“This is why Republicans and conservatives make no progress in pushing back massive government. We don’t live in Realville. Well, they don’t live in Realville. They refuse to accept the reality of what’s going on. And so they try to dress it up. They look for silver linings.

“We’re so used to defeat that we try to find a morsel somewhere in the defeat that will make us feel somewhat comfortable and secure, in the midst of huge defeat. What we need to do and what everybody in that town needs to do is get fired up and furious even, and push back and find ways to win and beat this thing back into submission.”

Last July 4th, WND reported on the failure of the group American Atheists to find pilots willing to fly “Godless” banners over American cities in all 50 states. Some 80 percent of pilots refused the jobs, saying things such as, “I’m not going to hell flying that sign.”

According to the atheists’ website, this year they aren’t trying to be quite as ambitious.

Instead of trying to locate pilots in all 50 states, this year the group plans to hire one pilot to fly a banner above New York City on the 4th of July.

According to the group: “In celebration of the rise of atheism in America, American Atheists flew aerial banners across the country on July 4th in 2011. … The banners proudly stated, ‘God-LESS America’ and ‘Atheism Is Patriotic.’ The banners brought the breadth and patriotism of the movement into America’s conversation.”

However, when so many pilots the group tried to hire refused the work, the atheists cited the need to keep up their efforts.

“Originally, we had planned on flying banners in all 50 states, representing the fact that atheism is the fastest growing segment in all 50 states, but we were unable to find pilots in many states willing to fly our banners, representing a clear reminder of the work we have to do,” said the group.

The group seems confident they will find one pilot to help declare their message.

Of this year’s attempt the group says, “Continuing this mindset, American Atheists again will fly a July 4th banner in 2012 in New York City.”

“The banner will again read, ‘Atheism Is Patriotic.’”

Last year, American Atheists claimed:”The reality is that there is still a lot of bigotry out there and many companies refused to fly our banners. This just emphasizes the importance of doing this campaign!”

A statement on the atheists’ website declares atheism is the only “theological position that is directly aligned with American freedom.”

But as WND reported last year, many atheists have expressed reservations about the group’s banner plan.

After announcing its aerial campaign in 2011, several comments on the American Atheists website seem to find fault.

“The first statement can easily be read to imply ‘Atheism is Patriotic, Religion is Not’ by a biased viewer,” said one commenter. “Point of fact: biased viewers comprise most of the intended audience. Why put it up in the first place?”

A new study funded by the Department of Homeland Security characterizes Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.

Entitled Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States, 1970-2008 (PDF), the study was produced by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the University of Maryland. The organization was launched with the aid of DHS funding to the tune of $12 million dollars.

While largely omitting Islamic terrorism – the report fails completely to mention the 1993 World Trade Center bombing – the study focuses on Americans who hold beliefs shared by the vast majority of conservatives and libertarians and puts them in the context of radical extremism.

The report takes its definitions from a 2011 study entitled Profiles of Perpetrators of Terrorism, produced by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, in which the following characteristics are used to identify terrorists.

- Americans who believe their “way of life” is under attack;

- Americans who are “fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation)”;

- People who consider themselves “anti-global” (presumably those who are wary of the loss of American sovereignty);

- Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority”;

- Americans who are “reverent of individual liberty”;

- People who “believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”

The report also lists people opposed to abortion and “groups that seek to smite the purported enemies of God and other evildoers” as terrorists.

The Minister Louis Farrakhan has a penchant for warning about America’s purported demise. Last month, he delivered a fiery, three-hour sermon during which he proclaimed that Allah will “take out” U.S. cities with earthquakes. The radical faith leader also warned that America must “submit” to avoid this impending chaos.

On Sunday, Farrakhan continued this theme, although he did so in a much more toned-down manner. Still, he seemed to border on delighting in what he sees as the impending destruction of both the U.S. and Europe, chastising their “imperial” ways and their alleged mistreatment of mankind.

“But if you live the kind of life that Christ and Muhammad called human beings to live, there’s no such thing as death. Physically we all have to go, but death can only come when your vanity, your greed, your self-conceit ends your days. And that’s why the Koran talks about the rise and the fall of nations because they rise in their power and knowledge and become vein and then they fall away and they die.

So you read about the fall of the Roman Empire, the fall of the Persian Empire, the fall of Ancient Egypt, the fall of Ancient Babylon and you’re living now in the fall of the United States of America and Europe and their imperial designs on the masses of the people of the earth. But they are dying and in the midst of their death there’s a living entity calling us to higher civilization. Calling us to think…like social beings that understand our connection to other human beings. In the animal kingdom all of us are a part of the ecosystem of God…there is no death for those who live beyond themselves.”

Earlier this year, a former senior Pentagon official who has battled Marxism around the globe released a video warning that Barack Obama is following in the footsteps of Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin and others who have led communist revolutions in their nations.

Retired Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin, a decorated former Delta Force commander, U.S. deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence and Purple Heart recipient, explained in the video a six-step plan used by revolutionaries to bring about Marxism elsewhere and drew parallels to Obama’s actions in the U.S.

Boykin’s warning resounds eerily today in particular, as the nation is reeling from the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a massive federal overhaul of health care and on the anniversary of Obama’s pledge to establish a “national civilian security force” – two events Boykin warned were markers of a “Marxist insurgency” in other nations.

“We hear a lot about Marxism and socialism, and there are those, particularly in the media, who would say that we should ‘tone down our rhetoric’ about socialism because ‘we’re not moving to socialism,’” Boykin states in the video. “Well, The reality is … I’ve studied Marxist insurgency. It was part of my training. And the things I know that have been done in every Marxist insurgency are being done in America today.”

Boykin laid out a step-by-step plan he says is the model of how Fidel Castro instituted Marxism in Cuba, Mao Zedong in China, Stalin in Russia and Hugo Chavez in Venzeula:

Nationalize major sectors of the economy
Redistribute wealth
Discredit opposition
Censors opposing viewpoints
Control gun ownership
Develop a constabulary force to control civilian population

Boykin then illustrates how each of these steps have begun to materialize in the U.S.: From a form of “nationalization” through government bailouts, to “hate crime” legislation aimed at silencing the pulpits, to the federal government labeling tea partiers and veterans returning from overseas as potential domestic terrorists, to efforts underway to get the U.S. on board with a United Nations small arms treaty, which would regulate private gun ownership.

‘Who would terrorize the home of a family with young, innocent children inside?’

Within two days of being profiled on Newsweek’s website The Daily Beast, a “personhood” advocate was startled by a rock thrown though his front door and vandals painting vulgarities on his family’s home.

Keith and Jennifer Mason of Denver, Colo., lead PersonhoodUSA, a Christian ministry seeking to establish human rights under the law for all children from the beginning of their biological development, a controversial stance that would effectively ban all abortions.

But after a profile of the Masons and their work around the country appeared on The Daily Beast last week, the comments section below the article became so “vicious and personal,” the website confirms, the section had to be shut down.

Reportedly, someone even posted the Mason’s home address.

Two nights later, the Masons report, a large rock was heaved through the double-paned glass of their front door, scattering glass throughout their living room and across the front porch, covering their children’s toys and items for the couple’s expected new baby. The vandals also spray painted coat hangers and vulgarity in large letters on the front and sides of their house.

“I was in the basement, catching a movie and having a beer, to just chill,” Mason later told Newsweek. “I heard a loud noise and thought one of our kids had fallen down the stairs. I ran through a bunch of glass and I saw red – it was surreal; I didn’t know if it was blood on the glass or what. It turned out to be spray paint. There was red paint all over the side of our house. They spray-painted coat hangers all over my sidewalk and door.”

Eva Longoria, a national co-chair of President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign, can’t imagine why a woman would pull the lever for a Republican.

“I don’t think it’s a hard choice if you’re a woman,” said Longoria during an Obama campaign event in Colorado over the weekend, according to The Denver Post. “We have to get out there and tell (others) ‘If you’re a woman, there is no way you can vote Republican.’”

Outside of the venue where Longoria spoke, the “Desperate Housewives” star was greeted by women who do vote Republican.They were clad in Mitt Romney T-shirts.

Suzie Terrell who co-chairs She-PAC, a group that supports conservative women running for elected office and whose clout is increasing, could not disagree more with Longoria.

Terrell told Breitbart News that “Longoria is off the mark” and her “comments underscore the desperate, unfounded remarks the Democrats have to make because they have nothing of substance to offer women.”

Dr. Keith Ablow, a bestselling author and one of America’s leading psychiatrists, asserts that the change will be “absolutely infantilizing,” and there will be incalculable ramifications because of it.

The economic impact, he asserts, “pales in comparison” to the cost to the American mindset.

He told Megyn Kelly on “America Live” that money is a metaphor, and in allowing the federal government to direct our hard-earned income to insurance companies or anywhere else, we are effectively left with an “allowance” that we can use as our parents in Washington see fit.

He explained:

“When the government begins to act as parent to its citizens as children, and says ‘we are going to earmark your after-tax dollars…you must spend it on certain things,’ that [literally means] that you don’t know whether any of your money is really yours because today it could be health care, tomorrow it could be a hybrid vehicle that you are penalized financially for not buying.

“It takes control of your behavior in the way that a parent would of a child, and it diminishes us in terms of our autonomy and our ability to achieve things, even for liberty, on the world stage.”

It makes Americans believe that they are weak, he continued, and it absolutely infantilizes the country:

“Listen, even adolescents or younger kids [dream] of the day when they’re in charge of their own money. Why? Because we know that money has that significance, it means independence, it means that you’re in charge of your destiny, kids dream of this.

“To treat the American public as though they are preadolescent slingshots them back that way psychologically, so that they say to themselves: ‘my decision-making capacity isn’t so good. After all, if I don’t do what they tell me, I’m going to be fined for it, and it seems that we voted this in…’”

He concluded: “What it does is it deposits us back as children when economically, more than ever, we need to be adult.”

Democratic Congressman Henry Waxman of California may have inadvertently handed Republicans their single greatest motivator for desiring control of the Senate come November. Waxman, in an interview with the CSPAN show “Newsmakers,” disclosed that if Americans did vote for Romney and Republicans took control of the House and the Senate, Obamacare would be “wiped out.”
