Former Navy SEAL Launches PAC To Fight Obama

Ryan Zinke, an ex-Navy SEAL and Montana State Senator, announced the launch of Special Operations for America, a political action committee dedicated to “the election of Mitt Romney and like-minded candidates.”

“Navy SEAL’s, Special Operations Personnel and Veteran’s across America have been outraged since Barack Obama conveniently took credit for killing Osama Bin Laden for political gain,” a statement announcing the launch of SOFA said. “The active duty military has no voice as they are forbidden to publicly engage in the political campaign process and it is career suicide for senior military leaders to speak out against the President.”

Mr. Zinke, who has frequently slammed the president’s handling of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, reiterated his criticisms of the operation.

“The President has failed and he is jeopardizing the safety of our troops, their families and our National security for political gain. Obama has exposed the identity of special operations units, leaked classified information, and limited the rules of engagement of forces on the ground,” said Mr. Zinke. “For those who have taken an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, it is a call of duty to take back America from a Commander-in-Chief that is incapable of understanding the sacrifices that have been made for the values that have made America great.”

Obama’s South Side Chicago thuggery

Now that we know just what President Obama thinks of people who succeed in business, it is no wonder that the economy is so much in the crapper. In his desperation to avoid any discussion of his own disastrous handling of the economy, Mr. Obama announced last week what he thinks of the struggling spark plugs of commerce: They are a bunch of felons.

Of course, he did not come right out and directly say that himself, because that would risk drawing renewed questions about whether he is actually an American with the slightest whiff of respect for private industry and ingenuity that defines America.

So he did what gangsters from the South Side of Chicago have always done. He dispatched one of his bloodthirsty capos to handle his dirty work. Then he strolls up onto the scene all clean and innocent-looking in his fancy, pressed duds and shiny spats and plays the wise guy.

This time it was Stephanie Cutter cornering Mitt Romney in the dark alley, which is apparently the only place these people can operate nowadays. She said Mr. Romney was either “lying” about when he left the helm of Bain Capital or he had committed “a felony” when he was still named on SEC documents in the years after his departure.

To grasp how utterly dishonest this whole attack is that has consumed the media, consider this: If Mr. Romney was, in fact, no longer part of the company at the time the SEC documents were filed, how could he possibly be responsible for what was written on the documents? Truth, justice or decency have no place in the alleys where these people operate.

Arpaio’s Obama probe finds ‘national security threat’

After determining earlier this year there is probable cause to suspect the document released by the White House as Barack Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said today he believes his Cold Case Posse’s investigation should be advanced to the federal government, based on further information released today at a press conference under way now in Phoenix that is being live-streamed by WND.

Cold Case Posse lead investigator Mike Zullo said the new information confirms the document presented to the American public in April 2011 is undoubtedly fraudulent.

Arpaio told WND he intends to move the investigation and the new information to a higher authority within the federal government because of what he calls an imminent threat to national security and U.S. immigration laws. The threat is posed by a flaw in Hawaii’s law discovered by his investigators that allows a foreigner to obtain a Hawaii birth certificate.

“Although I am having a difficult time deciding who to forward this information to given the fact that the obvious choices report directly to the president, I cannot stand by and hold on to information that threatens to weaken national security,” Arpaio said.

Arpaio said he intends on keeping a case file open if more information surfaces or if federal authorities decide to ignore the case.

Zullo explained that along with new information discovered regarding the birth certificate since the posse’s March 1 press conference, his team has discovered Hawaii provides easy access to a birth certificate, even if the child wasn’t born in the state.

Jobs versus Entitlements

Here are two facts, which play into an alarming trend for any of you who love freedom and wish to be successful in your future endeavors …

Between April-June 2012, an estimated 246,000 Americans were added to Social Security’s disability insurance program. In that same time period, only 225,000 American jobs were created.

Since 2008, 3.6. million Americans have been added to Social Security’s disability insurance program. In that same time period, a net total of 1.3 million jobs were lost.

If this trend continues, we’re royally screwed. To be honest, we’re already screwed, but if this economy doesn’t pick up soon and if we don’t get our welfare society under control, then your children and grandchildren will be royally screwed.

You do realize, don’t you, that the true total of our unfunded liabilities is $84 trillion? Over $30 trillion of that is owed to public debt holders, federal employees and current retirees for Social Security and Medicaid benefits. What does this mean? According to the National Center for Policy Analysis, “Overall, the fiscal imbalance is equal to 5.7 percent of the present value of all future GDP, which translates into about 31 percent of the long run federal revenue estimate,” the report states. “Thus federal revenues would have to rise immediately and permanently to 24.1 percent of GDP to cover the fiscal imbalance.” Can anyone tell me how we are expected to permanently fund the government at this level, if tax revenue generally fluctuates between 18% and 20% of GDP? Two words: It can’t.

This is the path down which the Democrats are leading us. The Obama administration is flat-out encouraging the growth of our entitlement society, and hoping that they can stoke the wealth envy flames long enough to squeeze more money out of the evil rich people. Even if they manage to increase tax rates on the rich, it isn’t going to come close to generating 24.1% of GDP in tax revenue. What happens then? We borrow more money and run a deficit to pay for our moocher society. And as that moocher society keeps growing (and it will, so long as the Democrats and moochers are in a perpetual symbiotic cycle), they will continue to push a little further and increase taxes just a little bit more …

New Gov’t Anti-Terror Initiative: Online Trolling

A member of the U.S. State Department has begun a new anti-terror initiative that is unlike others taken on by the U.S. government. It’s name: “Viral Peace.”

What’s the plan? Wired explains that instead of engaging in traditional warfare, this initiative is going to try to “annoy, frustrate and humiliate denizens of online extremist forums.”

Wired reports the program has already begun and was launched by Shahed Amanullah, a senior technology advisor with the State Department. In an interview with Wired, Amanullah said the goal is to use “logic, humor, satire, [and] religious arguments, not just to confront [extremists], but to undermine and demoralize them.”

Jarret Brachman, who studies online jihadism, thinks the tactic could work as those on the forums are often used by “massive narcissists [who] need constant ego boosts.” If you can get rid of the ”momentum, the anger and the virulence“ on such forums by balancing it with counterterror ”trolling,” some of the most verbose participants could dwindle off.

Viral Peace is still in its fledgling stages though — it doesn’t even have an official strategic plan yet. There’s also the fact that many of these contrary posts on forums could be taken down by administrators, as Will McCants, formerly with the State Department and now with the CNA think tank, told Wired.

McCants said the strategy could work if it targeted forums where terrorists were trying to recruit members.

Striking SEIU workers intentionally endangered CT nursing home patients

After the collapse of 17-month-long union negotiations on July 3, unionized health-care workers walked out of five nursing home facilities in Connecticut, but not before placing some elderly patients in dire medical risk through acts of sabotage, according to the company that owns and operates the facilities.

“In the hours leading up to the strike by the New England Health Care Employees Union, District 1199 SEIU (the Union) against five HealthBridge Management Health Care Centers in Connecticut, Union members engaged in multiple illegal and dangerous acts against Center residents,” reads a statement released by HealthBridge on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police reports obtained by The Daily Caller and reported Monday by the RedState blog, HealthBridge Management Health Care Centers alleged that union employees in at least three of its facilities intentionally mixed up or removed patient name plates, photos, medical bracelets and dietary advisories as they began their strike. Additionally, the police reports include allegations of both vandalism and larceny.

A July 3 police report from the Danbury Health Care Center in Danbury, Conn., states that “between the hours of 2300 [11:00 pm] on 7/2/12 and 0700 [7:00 am] today, 7/3/12, there were several incidents that directly affected and potentially could have negatively impacted patient care.”

“The incidents ranged from clean linens being thrown on the floor to more serious incidents whereby patients’ identification wrist bands were removed as well as patient identifiers on room doors and wheelchairs.”

“There are no suspects,” the report continues, but “the persons involved are presumed to be employees who are part of a protest taking place outside outside against the Danbury Health Care Center.”
