American Judge Says Muslims Can Attack Americans At Will

A judge in Michigan has dismissed charges against several Muslim football players who left an opposing team’s quarterback with a concussion in an on-field skirmish after Muslim and Arab-American leaders complained about the prosecution.

The Detroit Free Press reported today that following complaints “from Arab-American and Muslim leaders,” the judge dismissed assault and battery counts against four high school football players “of Arab descent.”

They had been charged in December with criminal misdemeanors for an Oct. 21 game when their team, International Star Academy, was being pummeled on the scoreboard by Lutheran High. The charges this week were dismissed by Judge Mark Plawecki.

The newspaper reported, “Four players rushed at the quarterback late in the game and tackled him after both teams and the referee mutually agreed that the quarterback would kneel with the ball to run out the clock.”

The counts had been criticized, according to the newspaper, by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Arab American Civil Rights League and others.

A spokeswoman for the prosecuting attorney’s office said race or ethnicity played no role in the decision to file charges.

According to David Wood, at the Answering Muslims website, the message to Muslims from the judge was clear: “If you’re getting humiliated by a Christian football team (e.g., losing 47-6), feel free to punish the infidels.”

Wood noted, “Of course, if four Christian players had attacked a Muslim quarterback, we’d have seen an entirely different reaction from CAIR, the media, and Judge Plawecki.”

Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, wrote, “No, no assault there. At least not when the perpetrators are Muslims in Michigan.”

He cited reports that Plawecki said the person who charged the boys must never have seen a football game.

“Yes, the opposing team commonly charges the quarterback and starts kicking him. That happens every day,” Spencer wrote.

Texas church expecting crowd of 30,000 for Tebow’s Easter sermon

Tim Tebow will deliver the Easter sermon on Sunday at the Celebration Church in Georgetown, Texas, and the expected turnout is one more indication of Tebow’s enormous popularity.

The church told local TV station KVUE that it’s erecting bleachers on its 60-acre outdoor space for what it expects to be a crowd of as many as 30,000 people.

“Obviously it’s our Super Bowl,” said Joe Champion, pastor at the Celebration Church. “Easter is the resurrection of Christ, which we celebrate in our faith. We feel like it’s going to be a testimony to the community. We want it to be a family event.”

Tebow recently got a mani-pedi (first time I’ve ever typed that phrase) to get himself ready for the festivities, but Pastor Champion wants to make clear that it’s not all about glorifying Tebow.

“There will be the sacredness of Easter,” Champion said. “It’s not a Tim Tebow show. It’s not about a celebrity. There’s really only one celebrity that we are going to honor and highlight.”

To Obama, legal precedents are all about politics

In 1996 Congress passed the Defense of Marriage Act by huge bipartisan votes — 342 to 67 in the House and 85 to 14 in the Senate. President Bill Clinton signed the measure into law.

Now, the Obama administration says DOMA, which permits states to refuse to recognize gay marriages from other states and also creates a federal definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman, is unconstitutional. In Boston on Wednesday, Stuart Delery, an attorney for the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, urged the First Circuit Court of Appeals to find DOMA violates the Constitution by discriminating against gays and lesbians. “I’m not here to defend [the law] on any standard,” Delery told the court.

What was striking about Delery’s request that a federal court strike down DOMA was that just a day or two before, President Obama railed at the very notion that a federal court would strike down any law passed by Congress.

“I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress,” Obama said Monday about the arguments over Obamacare before the nation’s highest court. The danger presented in the health care case, the president continued, is that “an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law.”

Obama immediately ran into a barrage of questions. How can the Supreme Court overturning a law be “unprecedented” when the court has done it more than 150 times in U.S. history? And does the president even recognize the court’s authority to rule on the constitutionality of laws passed by Congress?

Dhimmitude… Part of ObamaCare Bill – What Does It Mean?

New Word For The Day – “Dhimmitude” – What Does It Mean?

Obama used it in the health care bill. It was specifically spelled out in one of the original drafts of the ObamaCare bill (page 107) but was taken out after negative fallout from those who actually read the bill.

Now isn’t this interesting?

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States. Does anyone find that odd… and frightening? Folks, this is exclusively an Islamic concept under Sharia Law. So exclusive they had to make up an English word to define the concept. Why would our government start interjecting Sharia Law concepts into new broad and sweeping legislation like health care reform that would control the US population? ….Anyone?

Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be “gambling”, “risk-taking”, and “usury” and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So a Christian (Jew, Buddhist, Aethiest, etc) , will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of their assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because they refuse to buy health insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan and all other U.S. Muslims will have no such penalty and will have 100% of their health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslims paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Sharia Law definition of… Dhimmitude. This is not a Western Civilization concept.

Dhimmit has two purposes: To enrich Muslims AND to drive conversions to Islam. “Sure, I’ll be a Muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, bro?” (not for me, I will suffer first). So… are you asking yourself, why would our president and the people who wrote the healthcare bill put this in there???

Obama to Battle Dry Cleaning For Women

While speaking a White House forum on women, President Obama addressed health care and how Obamacare will prevent insurance companies from charging “women more just because they’re women.”

Obama also touted that women will have greater access to preventive care like “domestic violence screening” and, of course, “contraception at no additional cost.”

“Over one million more women are insured because they can now stay on their parents’ plan. Later this year, women will receive new access to recommended preventive care, like domestic violence screening and contraception at no additional cost,” Obama said to the forum on women and the economy.

“And Soon insurance companies will no longer be able to deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions like breast cancer or charge women more just because they’re women.

Obama attempted to tie women being charged more money “just because they’re women” to dry cleaning.

“We don’t know — we haven’t gotten on the dry cleaning thing yet. I mean, I know that is still, that is still frustrating. I’m sure,” Obama said to tepid laughter.

College Textbook Includes Anti-Beck Writings

“Today’s Tea Party adherents are George Wallace legacies.”

“[Glenn] Beck is an ignorant, divisive, pathetic figure.”

If those sentences sound to you like they’re straight out of the op-ed pages of the Washington Post and the New York Times, you’d be right. But they can also be found in a college textbook assigned to students at a community college in Texas.

“Read, Reason, Write: An Argument Text and Reader” is a critical reading and analysis book assigned to freshmen at Lone Star College-University Park in Houston. Its 10th edition features a collection of readings excoriating Beck and the Tea Party, while providing only the barest counter point of view.

The two sentences above came from op-ed pieces in the Post and Times that were reprinted in the book’s 23rd chapter: “America: Embracing the Future — or Divided by Conflict?” The line about the Tea Party is from Post columnist Colbert I. King’s March 2010 piece, “In the faces of Tea Party shouters, images of hate and history”, while the line about Beck comes from the Times‘ Bob Herbert’s “America Is Better Than This,” published in August 2010.

King compares the Tea Party to the protesters who stood to block the Little Rock Nine in 1957 and those who cheered ex-Klansman David Duke at a rally in 1991. He describes Tea Party members picketing on Capitol Hill during the health care debate and says they’re the legacy of George Wallace, the former Alabama governor who famously declared: “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever”:

They see the world through the eyes of the anti-civil rights alumni. “Washington, D.C.” now, as then, is regarded as the Great Satan. This is the place that created the civil rights laws that were shoved down their throats. This is the birthplace of their much-feared “Big Government” and the playground of the “elite national news media.”

“Obey Clothing”

If you’re a parent out on a clothing binge, you might want to beware – even clothing stores may have an agenda. Specifically, a brand known as “Obey Clothing,” which stocks Urban Outfitters, among other department stores, has been marketing increasingly aggressive looking products to teens, which include items like the following set of stickers:

Leftists and progressives are such evil, sick and ignorant people.

Vote For Me or Kids Will Die

President Obama suggested this evening that the Republican governing agenda will lead to “poisoning our kids” with pollution.

“I believe that it is part of our solemn responsibility to future generations that we look after this planet; that we make sure our air is clean and our water is clean; that we’re not poisoning our kids,” Obama said at a campaign fundraiser tonight. That credo came as he explained that “the contrast between visions in this election could not be more stark, because I believe that America is stronger when we’re looking for one another.”

Obama’s line evokes his Associated Press speech this week, when he said Republicans believe that if the government “let businesses pollute more and treat workers and consumers with impunity, that somehow we’d all be better off.”
