Forced to flee in fear of Muslims, Christians to forest and build a church out of branches in Pakistan

The mercilessly persecuted under Islam. And the world stands by. We live in the modern era of the savage. Obama has completely abandoned the religious minorities that are being crushed in the “islamic spring.” As the violence continues to escalate against Christian women and children in Egypt, part of Obama’s anti-freedom foreign policy is to suppress the horror of what is happening under his watch. He has gone so far as to remove the Religious Freedom Section from the State Department’s Human Rights reports .

Here Christians are forced to flee their homes, their village because an 11 year-old Downs Syndrome child is charged with blasphemy.

And the enemedia is just as deadly as the jihadist clutching his rusty beheading knife in his cloven grip. It’s not just that the little Christian girl with Down’s Syndrome was beaten (along with her mother) for “blasphemy” under the sharia, or the 12-year-old Christian boy had his ears, nose and intestines gutted as part of the reprisal for an alleged act of blasphemy, it’s that this is going on daily, the persecution of non-Muslims under the sharia in Muslim countries, and the media not only says nothing; they defame, smear, and destroy those of us who shine the light on these depraved acts in the cause of Islam.

Federal Court: ID needed for beer and wine, not for Voting

A federal court has ruled against a Texas law that would require voters to present photo IDs to election officials before being allowed to cast ballots in November.

A three-judge panel in Washington ruled Thursday that the law imposes “strict, unforgiving burdens on the poor” and noted that racial minorities in Texas are more likely to live in poverty.

Yes, Paul Ryan Spoke the Truth About Obama’s Fiscal Record at the Republican Convention

Progressive bloggers and TV personalities are up in arms about Paul Ryan’s speech at the Republican National Convention last night. Several of their accusations revolve around Paul Ryan’s own fiscal record, and his description of President Obama’s. I asked my liberal friends on Twitter to send me an itemized list of Ryan’s alleged lies, and they kindly obliged. So far, Ryan appears to have the better of the argument.

Chipotle restaurants in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts have been caught nickel-and-diming customers by rounding up bills to the nearest nickel, according to a recent report from the Star-Ledger.

The discovery was made by an astute customer who noticed his bills just weren’t adding up.

“The receipts at the Chipotle in West Caldwell don’t add up when there are odd amounts involved,” Jayson Greenberg of New Jersey told the Star Ledger.

Fallen SEALs honored with form letter

(Gateway Pundit) On August 6, 2011, 30 US service members were killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were being transported in crashed in Wardak province, Afghanistan. It was the deadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan. 17 members of the elite Navy SEALs were killed in the crash.

Yesterday, Karen and Billy Vaughn, parents of Aaron Carson Vaughn, spoke at the Defending the Defenders forum sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots outside the RNC Convention in Tampa. Karen brought a copy of the form letter they were sent following their son’s death.

It’s a form letter.

Jeb Bush goes after Obama: ‘We were spanked’ for placing blame on others

Previewing his Thursday night GOP convention speech, former Republican governor of Florida Jeb Bush went on the attack against President Obama for trying to blame his older brother, former President George W. Bush, for the economic downturn, saying in his family they were “spanked” for placing heat on others.

“Almost every day I hear the current incumbent feeling compelled to push down the past to make himself look better. When I was growing up, we were spanked when that happened,” Bush said Thursday morning on “Fox and Friends”

“Oh my gosh, that’s any interesting way to leave it,” host Gretchen Carlson said laughing.

“My mother was pretty tough,” Bush answered.

Bush said while he also plans on touching on education during his convention speech, an issue his older brother took on while in office, one of his main focuses will be to shed a positive light on the 43rd president.

Because of Obama’s recent attacks on the former Republican president, Bush said he felt “compelled” to drive home the point that his brother is a “person of courage and integrity.”

Comedy is meant to spur laughter, but some jokes simply go too far. That’s the budding consensus concerning a new parody video put out by Funny ofrDie. Entitled, “Legitimate Rape,” the clip is intended to take aim at Rep. Todd Akin (R-Missouri) (read about his contentious remark here) and is made to look like your typical, run-of-the-mill pharmaceutical commercial.

So, what’s the controversy about, you ask? We’ll let Gawker — an outlet that typically has no qualms about edgy humor — tell you:

Co-penned by and starring motion-capture actress Laura Napoli, the pretend-ad for a form of birth control called “legitimate rape” features a mock-rape scene that may bring the whole thing a little too close to home for some.
