MICHIGANISTAN: Students at Muslim-dominated ‘Edsel Ford’ High School in Dearborn protest Pastor Terry Jones’ First Amendment right to criticize Islam

How fitting. Students from a school named for the biggest failure in American Car history, the ‘Ford Edsel,’ want you to know how the ‘misunderstanders’ of Islam have hurt their wittle fweewings.

Florida pastor Terry Jones caused riots in the Muslim world back in 2010 when he set fire to a Quran, prompting the Obama Regime to enlist the help of CIA head, General David Petraeus, to warn Jones against exercising his first amendment rights because it might endanger our troops in Afghanistan. As if everything our troops do doesn’t already outrage Muslims anyway.

Detroit News Florida pastor Terry Jones and about a dozen supporters left Edsel Ford High School Wednesday afternoon after a protest against “Muslim gangs” that lasted about an hour. Jones, 60, a Florida pastor, said he came to Dearborn to meet with school officials about Muslim students bullying other kids as well as to defend the First Amendment by speaking out against what he sees as a threat from “radical Islam.”

Actual AP Headline: ‘Experts: Global Warming Means More Antarctic Ice’

For many years, climate realists have pointed to expanding ice in Antarctica as a counter to the claim that decreasing ice in the Arctic is necessarily proof of anthropogenic global warming.

The folks at the Associated Press on Wednesday came up with an unbelievable answer to that in an article unbelievably titled “Experts: Global Warming Means More Antarctic ice”:

While the North Pole has been losing sea ice over the years, the water nearest the South Pole has been gaining it. Antarctic sea ice hit a record 7.51 million square miles in September. That happened just days after reports of the biggest loss of Arctic sea ice on record.

Climate change skeptics have seized on the Antarctic ice to argue that the globe isn’t warming and that scientists are ignoring the southern continent because it’s not convenient. But scientists say the skeptics are misinterpreting what’s happening and why.

Shifts in wind patterns and the giant ozone hole over the Antarctic this time of year — both related to human activity — are probably behind the increase in ice, experts say

ABC’s Jake Tapper Confronts White House on Crumbling Libya Story: ‘Didn’t President Obama Shoot First and Aim Later?’

ABC’s Jake Tapper confronted White House Press Secretary Jay Carney on Wednesday about its inconsistent account of the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Tapper explained that President Barack Obama initially accused GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney of “shooting first and aiming later” for slamming an apologetic statement released by a U.S. Embassy, which falls under the Obama administration. Today, it is clear that the attack had nothing to do with any anti-Muslim YouTube video as the White House initially claimed. In fact, the State Department announced on Tuesday that there weren’t even protests outside the Libya compound before the attack.

These facts led Tapper to ask the reasonable question: “Didn’t President Obama shoot first and aim later?”

Pro-jihadist leftie teacher vandalizes anti-jihad Savage ads at Washington DC metro station

New ads from Pamela Geller’s ”Civilized Man vs Savage’ campaign posted in four DC Metro stations were vandalized by leftists (and Muslims?) within hours. High school teacher Debbie Polhemus covered up the letters of the ad with yellow Post-it notes giving an alternative message to the ad, which equated Muslims with savages. (NO, it equated jihadists with savages…but I guess Debbie considers ALL Muslims jihadists)

Washington Examiner The high school teacher said she wanted to counteract the American Freedom Defense Initiative’s right to free speech with her own right to free speech, all without actually defacing the sign. “This is a public space, and we don’t like hate speech,” she told The Washington Examiner. “And not to do anything would be to allow this speech. … It would be hurtful.” Her message at the Takoma Metro station on the Red Line instead included: “If you see something hateful say something peaceful.” (Exactly what the original sign says – ‘Support Israel’)

Obama’s ring: ‘There is no god but Allah’

As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obama’s practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues.

Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple’s wedding ceremony in 1992.

Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: “There is no god except Allah.”

The Shahada is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam, expressing the two fundamental beliefs that make a person a Muslim: There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is Allah’s prophet.

Sincere recitation of the Shahada is the sole requirement for becoming a Muslim, as it expresses a person’s rejection of all other gods.

Egyptian-born Islamic scholar Mark A. Gabriel, Ph.D., examined photographs of Obama’s ring at WND’s request and concluded that the first half of the Shahada is inscribed on it.

“There can be no doubt that someone wearing the inscription ‘There is no god except Allah’ has a very close connection to Islamic beliefs, the Islamic religion and Islamic society to which this statement is so strongly attached,” Gabriel told WND.

“Dreams from My Real Father” producer Joel Gilbert, an Arabic speaker and an expert on the Middle East, was the first to conclude that Obama’s ring, reportedly from Indonesia, bore an Islamic inscription.

Photographs published last week by the New Yorker from Obama’s time at Occidental College, taken by fellows students, indicate that the ring Obama wore three decades ago is the one he is wearing in the White House.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” Wednesday morning to discuss football and politics. The interview was enlightening for the most part and everything went smoothly, that is, until CNBC host Joe Kernen decided to ask Johnson about the status of football star Tim Tebow’s virginity.

Needless to say, things got a little weird.

It started out innocently enough when co-host Becky Quick asked Johnson about whether Tebow would be with the Jets next year.

“Absolutely. Yeah, he‘ll be with us for three years and I think he’s going to … be a real valuable asset in terms of helping us win games,” said Johnson.

So far, so good.

“Do you know — is he still a virgin? Woody? Do you know?” Kernen asked.

“I don’t really want to go into that,” a nervous Johnson laughed.

“It’s just that, you know, inquiring minds want to know,” Kernen continued, “We ask the tough questions here on ‘Squawk Box.’”

Jack Welch: I Was Right About That Strange Jobs Report

Imagine a country where challenging the ruling authorities—questioning, say, a piece of data released by central headquarters—would result in mobs of administration sympathizers claiming you should feel “embarrassed” and labeling you a fool, or worse.

Soviet Russia perhaps? Communist China? Nope, that would be the United States right now, when a person (like me, for instance) suggests that a certain government datum (like the September unemployment rate of 7.8%) doesn’t make sense.

Unfortunately for those who would like me to pipe down, the 7.8% unemployment figure released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) last week is downright implausible. And that’s why I made a stink about it.

Before I explain why the number is questionable, though, a few words about where I’m coming from. Contrary to some of the sound-and-fury last week, I do not work for the Mitt Romney campaign. I am definitely not a surrogate. My wife, Suzy, is not associated with the campaign, either. She worked at Bain Consulting (not Bain Capital) right after business school, in 1988 and 1989, and had no contact with Mr. Romney.

The Obama campaign and its supporters, including bigwigs like David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs, along with several cable TV anchors, would like you to believe that BLS data are handled like the gold in Fort Knox, with gun-carrying guards watching their every move, and highly trained, white-gloved super-agents counting and recounting hourly.

Let’s get real. The unemployment data reported each month are gathered over a one-week period by census workers, by phone in 70% of the cases, and the rest through home visits. In sum, they try to contact 60,000 households, asking a list of questions and recording the responses.

Obama Admits He Is An Idiot

Ever since President Obama’s universally panned debate performance last week, numerous different explanations and more free advice than any man should have to listen to have been offered going forward. Indeed, the only man whose voice hasn’t been heard about why he thinks he lost has been the president himself.

Until now. In an interview with the Tom Joyner Morning Show, President Obama placed the blame on an interesting problem with which to diagnose his performance.

“I was just too polite,” Obama told the host.
