The left, led by the US’ largest Marxist organization, Democratic Socialists of America, is about to start a huge push, starting with organized labor, to grant amnesty and citizenship to more than 12,000,000 illegal immigrants. They hope to make enough noise to allow their long time ally President Obama to claim a public mandate for an illegal immigrant amnesty.
Unions, before they were taken over by DSA in 1995, were traditionally anti-illegal immigration. Why the change?
The reason is simple. Marxist led unions do not care about getting a better deal for their members. They care about achieving socialism. They understand that Latinos, which illegals mostly are, tend to vote overwhelmingly Democrat. The Marxists also have huge influence in the Democrat Party and huge leverage over Democrat policy formation, through their lock-tight control of organized labor.
Therefore, giving illegals citizenship and voting rights could move America way to the left – forever.
Listen here to AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka, a longtime DSA supporter, put on his best fake sincerity “Judas goat” tone, to seduce union members into support their own destruction. This is almost barf bucket material, as this hard bitten union thug invokes patriotism and American values to sell his socialist “snake oil.”

Sen. Rand Paul, heir apparent to his father’s political movement, said he’s thinking about making a run for president.
“We are going to have to have somebody a little bit different than we’ve had in the past,” the Kentucky Republican said in a radio interview Friday with Andrea Tantaros and Jason Mattera. “Someone who can appeal to people in New England and on the West Coast. Someone who has a little more of a libertarian-Republican approach, I think, would have a better chance with independents and moderates.”
“And so, you know, we’ll think about it,” he said.
Paul won a seat last week on the influential Senate Foreign Relations Committee, meaning he would be well-placed in the national conversation should he choose to mount a 2016 bid. Following President Barack Obama’s November re-election, Paul said he wants to eliminate mandatory minimum sentences for marijuana possession and work out an immigration plan with an “eventual path” to citizenship for illegal immigrants — both signs he’s seeking broader support than just the Tea Party movement that helped put him in the Senate.
He’s also set to travel to Israel, a strong indication that he’s seeking to separate himself from his father, who faced strong criticism about his attitude toward the Jewish state, particularly as it related to foreign aid.
Paul said he believes the just-retired Texas Rep. Ron Paul was “unfairly characterized” about Israel, pointing out that his father’s intellectual heroes are all Jewish.
“There’s never been any sort of Jewish problem other than that he did talk about foreign aid and so do I, but I think sometimes that gets misinterpreted,” Rand Paul said. “People think oh, you’re just talking about Israel, and in fact I spend most of my time emphasizing that most of this foreign aid I’m talking about is going to enemies of Israel.”

With the fiscal cliff deal signed into law, the nation’s attention now turns to the debt ceiling debate, scheduled to hit in the next two months. As America reaches the debt ceiling yet again – an unbelievable $16.4 trillion debt ceiling needs another increase in order to allow us to borrow more cash to pay our bills – Republicans insist that we finally begin dealing with our spending problem. That, of course, was the purpose of the fiscal cliff deal in the first place: to preserve as many of the Bush tax rates as possible, consider tax rates a finished issue, and move on to spending cuts. As Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said on ABC’s This Week, “The tax issue is finished, over, completed. That’s behind us. Now the question is: what are we going to do about the biggest problem confronting our country and our future? And that’s our spending addiction.”
Not so fast.
The bullies in the Democratic Party have no intention of cutting a single dollar. Instead, they want to tighten their stranglehold on the windpipes of job producers and entrepreneurs. This morning, virtually every Democrat on virtually every Sunday show said the same thing: no cuts, more taxes. So much for the Republican attempt to take the tax discussion off the table.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi led the way, telling CBS’ Face the Nation that the historically enormous tax increases just enshrined in law aren’t enough: “The President had originally said he wanted $1.6 trillion in revenue. He took it down to $1.2 trillion as a compromise in this legislation. We get $620 billion, very significant, high-end tax, changing the high-end tax rate to 39.6 percent, but that is not enough on the revenue side.” Pelosi said that the Obama regime had already made cuts to social programs like Medicare – a position the Obama re-election campaign denied repeatedly. She added that there would be no change to Medicare’s eligibility age, and wouldn’t allow cost of living adjustments to Social Security payments. And she concluded that any link between raising the debt ceiling and cutting spending wouldn’t happen: “I don’t think those two things should be related.” She went so far as to say that she’d unilaterally raise the debt ceiling in violation of the Constitution if she were president.

“The most merciful thing a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” –Margaret Sanger
America does not have a gun problem; we have an apathy problem. Our consciences have been seared, and protecting the innocent is no longer a priority. We have become desensitized to evil, the very evil that has led to life being devalued in the United States. If polls show that the majority of American citizens do not approve of taxpayer funding of abortion, why do we continually pay for this brutal act? If the average American doesn’t speak up, at least Christians should.
Less than two percent of abortions are due to rape or a mother’s life being threatened, so why do we rarely hear an honest discussion about reducing or eliminating the 98% of abortions performed because of convenience, selfishness, and other unbiblical reasons? Furthermore, why do we continue allowing government to force all working Americans to pay for all of abortions in America?
In Psalm 139:13-16, the Bible teaches about God creating life:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful…. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

The Obama administration and Democrats in Congress are launching a massive gun control campaign as the President begins his second term and a divided Capitol Hill returns to work.
Billed as a response to the Sandy Hook shootings in December, the campaign includes ten gun control bills that were introduced on the first day of the 113th Congress–none of which would have prevented the shootings from taking place.
In addition, Vice President Joe Biden is leading a working group that will recommend legislative changes to the nation’s gun laws by the end of January. The groups will also recommend steps that the executive branch might take on its own, without consulting Congress–a favored tactic of President Barack Obama, who prefers unilateral exertions of power to the give-and-take of negotiating with Congress and his political opposition.
(President Obama’s decision to delegate the legislative and regulatory work to someone else is also characteristic of his governing style. He delegated the writing of Obamacare legislation to Congress, left the recent “fiscal cliff” talks to his staff, and left oversight of the $862 billion stimulus to Vice President Biden. President Obama prefers speaking to negotiating, and campaigning to governing, using public pressure to achieve his goals.)
The National Rifle Association, thought to be one of the most powerful lobby groups in Washington, with dues-paying members in both parties, is already on the defensive. In December, NRA President Wayne LaPierre delivered a strident defense of the Second Amendment–one disrupted by Code Pink protesters, to whom the media paid great attention. LaPierre also called for armed guards to be placed in the nation’s schools.
Other defenders of gun ownership have called for stronger legislation regarding the mentally ill–specifically, laws that would make it easier to have disturbed individuals committed to mental institutions. Some have argued that Connecticut might have been able to prevent the Sandy Hook shooting had it not failed to pass such legislation earlier this year. Civil liberties groups such as the ACLU helped defeat the legislation.

“Our war department has done little to show you they won’t recklessly put your young life in harm’s way for a cause that has nothing to do with what you signed up for,” he continued. “They will not help you once they’ve used you and spit you back into society. If you’re a woman, they will not protect you from rapists in their ranks. And because you have a conscience and you know right from wrong, you do not want yourself being used to kill civilians in other countries who never did anything to hurt us.”
“Don’t become the next statistic so that General Electric can post another record profit — while paying no taxes — taxes that otherwise would be paying for the artificial leg that they’ve kept you waiting for months to receive,” Moore exclaimed. “And please, next time some ‘supporter of the troops’ says to you with that concerned look on their face, ‘I thank you for your service,’ you have my permission to punch their lights out (figuratively speaking, of course).”
The U.S. Federal Investigation Bureau released records it was keeping on celebrated journalist and late ‘60 Minutes’ correspondent Mike Wallace, who died on April 7, 2012, at the age of 93.
The files include a look into whether Wallace was involved in communist activities as well as an investigation of a threatening letter sent to him by an emotionally disturbed World War II veteran titled ‘Communist Control of the Press.’
Wallace, late ’60 Minutes’ creator Don Hewitt and three others took a trip to Cuba in the summer of 1970 to document the country, according to the files.
The group departed from Mexico with 22 pieces of luggage weighing about 770 pounds and returned with 26 pieces of luggage weighing about 904 pounds. An educated guess would be Cuban cigars, other souvenirs or additional camera tape from the embargoed island.
Wallace, who was 52 at the time, was not discovered to be a communist member or sympathizer.
A separate investigation into a bizarre and threatening letter from April 4, 1977, identified the sender as Donald P. Hale — a disabled World War II veteran and a former prisoner of war.
‘I have solid proof that you are a pro-communist anti-American traitor,’ the letter reads. ‘We will expose you, convict you, and hang you.’
Hale’s letter also includes references to his dog puking on the rug and ‘piddling’ in Wallace’s eye through the television screen.
The U.S. Attorney’s office decided against prosecuting Hale for extortion, stating that his letter did not appear to have criminal intent and that Hale told investigators he meant no harm and was suffering from ’emotional problems.’
