Federal Judge Makes Ruling To Save Girl Kathleen Sebelius Wants To Die

A federal judge in Philadelphia has made a dying 10-year-old eligible to seek donor lungs from an adult transplant list.

U.S. District Judge Michael Baylson says he is granting the temporary request because of the severity of Sarah Murnaghan’s condition.

Her mother, Janet Murnaghan, says the family is thrilled by the ruling. It’s in effect until a June 14 court hearing.

The family is challenging organ transplant rules that say children under age 12 must wait for pediatric lungs to become available. The Murnaghans say that rarely happens.

Sarah’s doctors believe they can perform a successful transplant with adult lungs.

Sarah has been hospitalized at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for three months with end-stage cystic fibrosis.

Obama appointments a big ‘F. you’

Radio powerhouse Rush Limbaugh says President Obama is basically telling Americans “F. You” with his two latest appointments in his administration.

Reports indicate Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, will become a national security adviser, and her replacement at the U.N. will be Samantha Power, a foreign-policy expert who is married to Obama’s former regulatory “czar” Cass Sunstein.

“I’m gonna tell you what these two appointments are. They are ‘F. You,’ and he’s saying that to us,” Limbaugh said Wednesday on his national broadcast.

Limbaugh called the situation a “Star Wars scene going on right now at the White House.”

“I have no respect for these people at all. None,” he said. “I respect the offices they hold, but to me, these people are just the epitome of danger.”

He continued: “It doesn’t matter who’s in these positions. They’re all him (Obama). Every one of them is as true a believer as Obama is, and that’s why they are there. And it’s been that way since he first started naming people to his regime, naming his czars. And I totally believe that these people have secret email addresses and I totally believe they’re working to undermine the way this country was founded. I’ve no doubt in my mind that’s what they’re doing. They don’t like it. They don’t like the Constitution.”

Poor Baghdad Jim McDermott Wails “Stop It!” At Megyn Kelly’s Tough Questioning (Video)

Nice Deb

I say tough questioning, but it really wasn’t tough questioning, at all – just tough compared to what he’s probably used to from the lib media. She was just asking questions and demanding answers that actually made sense.

See if you can follow Baghdad Jim’s logic, here… He blustered that he said five times during his statement at the hearing, yesterday, that the questions the IRS requested from the the conservative groups were “egregious, out of bounds,  and shouldn’t have been asked”, but then, in the same breath noted that by asking for tax exempt status, they opened themselves up to such questions. Say what?

When Megyn asked him about  Kevin Kookogey’s testimony about his group’s loss of a $30,000 donation because they hadn’t received the stamp of approval in officially becoming a 501(c)(4),  he said Kookogey wasn’t under oath and didn’t offer any proof. When she pressed him as to whether…

A federal judge has intervened to give hope to a young girl who needs a lung transplant as doctors have only given her weeks to live. HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius received national condemnation after she refused to get involved to help the girl.

Sarah Murnaghan has been hospitalized for three months with end-stage cystic fibrosis. She is not giving up hope. She wants to be a singer, but needs a lung transplant to live. Her parents have been with her constantly while she waits at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

This morning, Sarah’s parents asked a federal judge to intervene and order the Obama administration to alter longstanding organ-donation rules so she can get the lung transplant she desperately needs. A report shows the judge have given them hope that she can be put on the adult list:

Speech Police: Maryland School Suspends Boy for SAYING THE WORD “GUN”

Todd Starnes at FoxNews reports the following:

An 11-year-old boy who hopes to become a Navy SEAL was suspended from a Maryland school last December after he used the word ‘gun’ in a conversation on board a school bus.

The sixth-grader at Northern Middle School in Owings was talking with a group of friends about the Sandy Hook Elementary school massacre when the bus driver overheard the conversation.

“He said, ‘I wish I had a gun to protect everyone from the bad guys,’’ said Bruce Henkelman, the boy’s father. “He wanted to be the hero.”

Henkelman, who first shared his story with radio station WMAL, told Fox News that his son was interrogated by Principal Darrel Prioleau and a deputy sheriff – without their knowledge or permission.

“The principal told me if you say the word gun in my school – you will face a ten day suspension,” he said.

The incident happened just after the Sandy Hook shootings. Henkleman said he finally decided to speak out after a 5-year-old boy in their county was suspended for 10 days after he brought a toy cap gun onto a school bus.

Since the incident happened a day before winter break, the principal reduced the suspension to one day. But the family was ordered to complete an ‘intrusive’ four page questionnaire and the deputy sheriff said he would have to search their home — without a warrant.

“But he was emphasizing that it warranted a 10-day suspension,” he said.

Robin Welsh, the deputy superintendent for school system, confirmed to Fox News that the incident occurred. She also said there was misinformation about the case. However, she declined to go into any details citing federal and local confidentiality laws.

Welsh did point out that the principal of the middle school did nothing wrong.

“The principal followed our policies and procedures and absolutely did handle it in an appropriate manner,” she said.

Henkelman told Fox News that he is outraged over his son’s treatment at the hands of the school.

“I keep telling him that he did nothing wrong,” he said. “At the very least the principal owes him an apology. Our personal rights were violated.”

Henkelman, a retired Navy veteran, said his son is an honors student who pitches for the local baseball team. And the boy wants to be a Navy SEAL.

“That’s the context of the comments he made on the bus,” he said. “He wants to be a hero.”

“He’s infatuated with the Navy SEALS,” he said. “He thinks they’re great – how they go and save the world. The context was to protect people just like the police department does with their guns.”

After Henkelman picked up his son from school, the deputy sheriff said he would need to search their home.

“I said, by what authority and he said that he had to make sure the house is clear of guns,” he said.

The deputy arrived at their home 15 minutes later armed with a four-page questionnaire.
