Obamacare continues the Obama administration’s social policy agenda of wealth distribution across generational and geographic bounds. Citizens of Georgia will be made to pay:

“I am very concerned that the full implementation of ObamaCare will drastically increase the price Georgians pay for health insurance,” said Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens.

But officials at the Georgia Department of Insurancearen’t ready to offer any public conclusions while independent actuaries evaluate the plans and premiums seven companies submitted in April. Hudgens has the power to reject rates he considers too high even though the federal government will operate Georgia’s online exchange where they’ll be sold in addition to private insurance agents.

Nation’s morals plunged after 50 godless years

America’s moral standards have plunged so far that the nation no longer is safe for children, according to a high-profile Christian leader.

“Fifty years after the removal of prayer from America’s public schools in a case brought by my mother, Madalyn Murray O’Hair, there is virtually no safe place in America for children of any age, not in their schools, not even in their homes,” said William J. Murray, chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition.

It was on his behalf that his mother filed a lawsuit claiming compulsory prayer and Bible reading in public schools is unconstitutional.

The ruling, released by the U.S. Supreme Court June 17, 1963, allowed God no further place in public schooling, triggering a plunge from a time when chewing gum was a major problem to schools plagued by drugs, violence and sex that need to be protected by armed guards.

Murray tells the story in his book, “My Life Without God.”

“Prayer in the schools 50 years ago had little to do with morality and a lot to do with authority,” he said. “The speaker of the House of Representatives, the second most powerful man in America, has the words ‘In God We Trust’ engraved over his chair in the House Chamber.”

Murray said “In God We Trust” is “more than the national motto; it was meant to be the real source of authority for our government.”

You’ve probably already heard about the bizarre, Islamist slaughter of an off-duty British soldier in broad daylight on a busy street in London in May 2013.

The two assailants struck the victim with a car then jumped out and began hacking and slashing him with knives and a meat cleaver. The murderers then strutted around the victim’s body for 15 to 20 minutes until armed police arrived, upon which the self-proclaimed jihadists launched an assault on the police and were shot.

Most strange is the way that the attackers waited around after the slaughter, strutting and bragging, but not particularly threatening or attempting to harm any of the onlookers, until armed police units finally arrived, at which point the murderers commenced what could only be characterized as a suicide attack – having brought knives to a gunfight.

Many have asked why the attackers just waited around for the armed police. Why didn’t they flee or continues attacking others, as one might expect from a couple of crazed murderers? What were they waiting for?

The answer to that question is very significant. These men were waiting for their tickets to Paradise – and 72 virgins. They engaged in their act of jihad, killing an “infidel aggressor, enemy of Islam,” and then waited around for the armed police to show up so they could die in battle for Allah’s glory, martyrs, and therefore elected for special rewards in Paradise. Moviegoers Defy Critics: ‘Man of Steel’ Breaks June Record

It might not be “Iron Man 3” money ($174 million opening weekend), but the Christopher Nolan produced, Zack Snyder directed “Man of Steel,” is on pace to break a June record for a non-sequel with a $120 million weekend haul. This puts Hollywood’s the third attempt at a Superman franchise way ahead of the second, the pitiful “Superman Returns,” which scored only $84.6 million over a five-day weekend.

According to Box Office Mojo, the previous June record holder was “Toy Story 3,” with $110 million. “Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen” came in second with $108 million. If Nikki Finke’s numbers are correct, there is no question “Man of Steel” will beat the non-sequel record. It might, though, beat all records, which is something even Warner Bros. didn’t dare predict.
