After repeatedly belittling and alienating most of the country for the past five years, Obama now wants everyone’s support for a war – which he is lying about. What a world class wanker.

Video: Jeanine Pirro to Obama: ‘You Have No Credibility’

Nice Deb

Judge Jeanine Pirro began her show, Saturday evening echoing what so many of us have been thinking and saying about Obama’s credibility deficit on Syria due to his countless lies and scandals.

“Now you want the American people, after all they’ve been through, to take you at your word, and blindly follow you into another Middle East conflict?” She asked.

As for Obama’s vascillating on his “red line” she said,  “a lie is a lie is a lie. You said it and the world heard it. And they gave you no mind, and they did it anyway. And by the way, if you didn’t draw a red line, why are we going in? No one respects us. No one fears us. You’ve done this to us. Why draw red lines when everyone knows your red lines are nothing more than green lights over and over again. But I’ve got to…

The popular myth in America and most modern democracies is that the general population decides on important issues that effect their lives.  However the reality is very different from this myth.  In reality the general population has no say at all, their only options are to be persuaded by the politicians and get in line, or shut up and deal with it.

During a press conference at the G20 summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, Obama admitted that a war in Syria would be unpopular with the public, saying that “It’s conceivable that, at the end of the day, I don’t persuade a majority of the American people that it’s the right thing to do.”

Syria inaction would be alarming, says Foreign Secretary William Hague

A Conservative Edge

BBC News – Syria inaction would be alarming, says William Hague.bbc news logo

William Hague: Many parts of the UK’ Syria strategy still in play

It would be an “alarming moment” if military action was not taken over Syrian use of chemical weapons, Foreign Secretary William Hague has said.

MPs voted against intervention after the attack on civilians that the UK and US blames on the Syrian government, but the Assad regime blames on rebels.

The US is trying to gather support for strikes, but no agreement was reached at last week’s G20 summit.

Mr Hague said a response was needed to “deter” chemical weapons use.

“I do believe very strongly the world must stand up the use of chemical weapons and there is a debate now taking place in the US Congress,” Mr Hague told the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show.

“The risks of not doing so in my view are…

@AllenWest “Why should we listen to President Obama? He didn’t listen to the American people”

Allen West Republic

Allen West Benghazi - Syria

by Allen West via Facebook

It’s Obama and his acolytes are embarking upon a media blitz to convey a failing message of US military engagement in Syria. Why should we listen to President Obama? He didn’t listen to the American people on Stimulus, Obamacare, Fast and Furious, IRS scandal, NSA, not to embrace the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and various other actions contrary to our Constitution. Most egregious was Obama not listening to the American people, and without Congressional approval, taking his unilateral venture into Libya creating an Islamist base of operations. This week we shall remember the four Americans who were abandoned by Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton as they came under attack a year ago on 9-11. I am imploring and encouraging those Americans who love this country to embark upon their own blitz. Starting Monday through Tuesday evening, melt down the White House phone lines, email…

Warning To The West: Leftist Re-Engineering Unbound

The Camp Of The Saints

I try not overuse the phrase ‘this is a must-read’, but, in the case of the latest post from Donald Douglas, it’s damn fitting.

Donald has posted some very insightful remarks on an article in today’s The New York Times entitled Harvard Business School Case Study: Gender Equity.

From Donald’s introduction [tip of the fedora to Stacy McCain]:

You’ve heard it a thousand times: radical leftist ideology strives fundamentally for the total reengineering of society, the complete makeover of social relations, by any means necessary, including coercion and force.

But we don’t often have perfect case studies of this at the highest levels of institutional power and prestige, especially at Harvard University, a private university where the normal decelerating processes inhibiting disruptive social change would be least in play.

So read this piece at the New York Times as a window to the programmatic world of the leftist…
