Christmas?

With Christmas right around the corner I see an increasing trend that really disturbs me, people attacking those who celebrate Christmas. You would think I am referring to those of the secular world who see Christmas as an unwanted intrusion of God into what otherwise would be a great holiday.

Sadly I am not referring to those folks, I am speaking of other Believers in Christ.

Lets go back for a moment to the secular world. I try not to disparage unbelievers, but I do take exception to some of their practices as related to Christmas. Christmas for some is nothing more than an excuse to throw a party and get drunk. Others will stop at nothing to get “the deals” in the stores including pushing and shoving, even hurting others. These actions are deplorable.

For yet others, Believers and unbelievers both Christmas is…

The Washington Post Has Decided Anyone Who Votes Republican is a Hater

American Glob

For the last five years Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians and Tea Party folks have endured a never ending slew of insults from liberals in politics and media.

Obama told his supporters to vote for revenge and to punish their enemies. Tea Party folks were ridiculed as Tea Baggers on national television. Republicans are regularly called terrorists and hostage takers. Libertarians have been called selfish anarchists. I could go on and on.

The liberal network MSNBC has fired two people in recent weeks, one for homophobic comments, the other for sexist comments that could be defined as violence against women. Democrats regularly accuse black conservatives of being “Uncle Toms” and traitors.

Yet despite all this, the Washington Post wants you to know that anyone who votes Republican from here on out is a hater…

Haters gonna hate. But they plan to vote Republican

Meet the haters.

We’re talking about the voters who’ve…

Black mob violence blamed on collective ‘mental illness’

Wilmington, Del., has a big problem: Large groups of black people are going crazy.

And this collective “mental illness” is causing record levels of crime and gun violence in this mostly black town of 70,000.

That is the official diagnosis of the city council, which, by unanimous agreement earlier this month, asked the Centers for Disease Control to investigate a wave of psychological mayhem that has turned this historic and once-charming city into an unrecognizable husk of its former self.

Chief diagnostician of this crisis in public health is city council member Hanifa G.N. Shabazz:

“There is a well known fact that the African-American community here in the United States of America is still suffering from the traumatic syndrome of slavery,” Shabazz said. “That is compounded with the many effects that are happening in today’s society with our young people and the things they are seeing, and there is definitely a shift of mental capacity of their ability to make good decisions. That results in gun violence.”

Shabazz went on to talk about the “mental illness that our young people are suffering in order for our young people to be able to take life so aimlessly.”

She pointed to the recent movie “12 Years a Slave” to illustrate her diagnosis. In one scene, a slave is hung from a tree with a rope around his neck and must stand on his tip-toes for a long period of time to survive. Many people saw the slave in distress but did not help him.
