Not so, this is untrue, in Vattel’s Law of Nation, the Notes from Madison and others specifically state “a child born of 2 citizen parents”. If you want to change this you MUST ratify the Constitution. There is only one spot where “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN” is used and that is for President and Vice-President, all other mentions are ‘citizens’. Vattel’s Law of Nations: Book I, Chapter 19, section 212. No law passed by congress can undue or surpass the Constitution. Do not cherry pick but use the entire section…

I believe Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal and Ted Cruz to be “natural born Citizens” and eligible to be President. Here’s why.
1. Summary
There are few eligibility requirements to be President. You don’t have to be smart, wise, experienced, honest, educated, or a particular gender or race.
Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution provides, in pertinent part (emphasis added):
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
For people currently alive, the three requirements are: ”natural born Citizen”; age 35; resident of U.S. for 14 years. [omg, this is so unreal as to be laughable]

Okay, but, President Obama’s dad in no way had anything to do with being an American, so if what you say here is true, then our current President should be impeached immediately.
Which is what millions have been saying since 2007…but no one paid any attention or called people “birthers” and did not report the truth, just interviewed nutjobs to make the tv viewers stupid to the fact they don’t even know their own Constitution.
Natural Born is about the allegiances to the PARENTS nation of birth. If they are foreign born parents, the allegiances to America are not “in bred”. As far as British common law, give me a break and go back and read a history book. America just fought a war with Brittan, we certainly did not keep their unjust and oppressive laws. The French, our ALLIE in the Revolution, and Vattel’s Laws of Nations were used to form the Founding Documents and mentioned in many writings of the founders.
