Good. Fry him.
I never thought I’d approve of anything the Department of Justice did under Eric Holder but I guess there’s a first time for everything…
U.S. Is Seeking Death Penalty in Boston Case
WASHINGTON — The Justice Department said Thursday that it would seek the death penalty against Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, the man accused of killing and maiming people with homemade bombs at the Boston Marathon finish line last year.
The decision sets in motion the highest-profile federal death penalty case since Timothy J. McVeigh was prosecuted and executed for the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
“Dzhokhar Tsarnaev targeted the Boston Marathon, an iconic event that draws large crowds of men, women and children to its final stretch, making it especially susceptible to the act and effects of terrorism,” prosecutors wrote in an eight-page document filed in federal court in Boston.

Sandra Fluke, who became an instant celebrity when she was denied the opportunity to testify at a hearing on Obamacare’s contraception requirements, is “strongly considering” a bid for Rep. Henry Waxman’s congressional seat, according to KPCC, a Southern California radio station.
“I’m flattered that I’m being discussed as a potential candidate,” she told the station. “A number of folks I respect very deeply have reached out today and encouraged me to run. I am strongly considering running.”
Just what we need, another “take care of me because I can’t take care of myself” liberal. If she can’t buy her own birth control how the hell is she going to survive in real politics?!
Rebel Pundit interviewed a group of Black Americans (male and female) in Chicago the other night after the SOTU. Unhyphenated Americans in the following video take Obama to task for his never-ending rhetoric, blame game, failed policies, dismissal of Black America, i.e., America as a whole.
State of Chicago. State of the Urban Community.
Mind you, Obama represented (or was supposed to) many of these people as a junior senator. He failed them then as well.
Mind you, some of these same people tried to warn Americans about what a failure Obama was to them but Progressives and their media sock puppets made a concerted effort to keep their voices from being heard. Well done Rebel Pundit, well done. H/tThe Right Scoop.
■ When the Radel arrest was first reported on November 20, all six network newscasts on that Tuesday and the morning shows the following Wednesday made sure to point out Radel’s GOP affiliation. Many of them identified him with the Tea Party. ABC’s Good Morning America reporters actually mentioned “Tea Party,” “conservative” or “Republican” five times in less than two and a half minutes. In contrast, when federal corruption indictments against Nagin first came down, on January 18, 2013, all three broadcast networks ran short items on their evening newscasts, but none of them mentioned his party affiliation.
■ On January 22, less than 24-hours after former Virginia Republican Governor Bob McDonnell was indicted on 14 charges including conspiracy and fraud, all three network morning shows immediately identified him as a Republican. In contrast, in March 2008 when Democratic Governor Elliot Spitzer of New York was identified as “Client Number…

The president struck a populist note in his speech, but it’s hard to tell he believes it when you look at his administration
James Oliphant writes: President Obama drew applause from the House chamber for striking what seemed to be a populist blow against elitism in his State of the Union.
“I believe that here in America, our success should depend not on accident of birth, but the strength of our work ethic and the scope of our dreams,” Obama said early in his remarks.
Looking at his administration, however, you would never know he believes that. Yes, as the president pointed out, both he and House Speaker John Boehner come from modest backgrounds. But as a graduate of Harvard Law School, Obama has shown himself more of that stripe, stuffing his administration with like-minded denizens of the Ivy League.
