The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is retrieving what it can of 40,000 prophylactics donated to Boston public schools after outraged parents queried the propriety of the idiom and pictures displayed on the packaging. H/t I am the Stig (Facebook).
How is it that school officials failed to recognize that messages on the packaging such as “One lucky lady,” “hump one,” and “tasty one,” which was accompanied by a picture of a shark preying on a small fish”is tasteless and inappropriate for teenagers?
News of the risqué packaging surfaced after, as reported by the Boston Globe, during a discussion, nurse midwife and former school committee member, a shocked Helen Dajer was presented with the prophylactics by a high school nurse concerned about the packaging.

The fate of a Malaysia Airlines passenger jet that vanished in flight remained a mystery early Monday after a two-plus-day search involving 40 ships and 34 aircraft. There were unconfirmed reports that a Vietnamese plane had spotted parts of the plane — possibly a door and part of the tail — at sea near two oil slicks. They said the sum contradicts Mt. Gox’s claim in a Japanese bankruptcy protection filing Feb. 28 that it had lost about 850,000 bitcoins.
Neither Karpeles nor Mt. Gox officials could immediately be reached to verify the claims.
Karpeles has maintained a low profile since the filing in Tokyo District Court. Mt. Gox, which pulled the plug on its website three days before the court filing, had announced that about 750,000 customer bitcoins it held are missing along with 100,000 of its own bitcoins and $27.3 million in customer deposits.

Anne Arundel County Police have released surveillance video of a person of interest in the setting off of fireworks inside a movie theater.
Police originally responded Saturday night to a report of shots fired at the Cinemark Theater in the Arundel Mills Mall.
In the wake of the deadly Columbia Mall shooting, authorities evacuated the mall in search of evidence of a shooting, but found none.
Police said it appeared that the someone set off fireworks inside a juice bottle, according to WJZ in Baltimore.
