While the Veterans Administration thanks its lucky stars the Bergdahl story has taken its scandal out of the headlines, it seems the VA system had other things to worry about anyway, beyond simply the death of dozens of veterans awaiting treatment.

No, what the VA really has to worry about is all those offensive Christian religious symbols in chapels.

As reported byUnhyphenated America, “A Veteran’s Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan actually went to the time and expense to install a curtain in front of an “offensive” altar, cross and statues of Jesus and Mary in the chapel.

Some days, reading the news produces much frustration, anger and resentment that it is best to leave it lie as the head-shaking, fist-pounding and feet-stamping cause my poor little companion, who is now suffering congestive heart failure, to rise from her sleep, running throughout the house barking incessantly. Not only that, it does my blood pressure no good either and I have excellent blood pressure. What I have concluded from watching this administration and Congress through all their shenanigans is every person in Congress, the Obama administration and the alphabet agency department heads all have a mental disorder. The mental disorders vary, but it is evident in their very actions these people epitomize the phrase, “the patients are running the asylum.”

President Obama claims that Republicans are busy probing “phony scandals.” But the sheer number of scandals suggests that misbehavior, abuse of power, and possibly corruption are not something being dreamed up by the GOP, but a defining characteristic of the Obama administration.
Here is a full list of the administration’s most egregious scandals. The ones we know about, at least. I’ve added four since the last time we ran the list – an increase of 20 percent!

The Sting of Betrayal


“Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, ‘I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me.’” John 13:21

Most of us are familiar with the events in the upper room, where we see Jesus washing the dusty feet of His followers and preparing them for the drama that was about to unfold in the final stage of His earthly ministry. When Jesus—“troubled in spirit”—predicted that one of them would betray Him, it’s no wonder that the disciples “stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant” (John 13:22). Weren’t they all fully committed to Jesus? For three years they had been in this thing together. Little did they know that there was a traitor in their midst.
