South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, who was appointed to the position of Senator by Governor Nikki Haley following Jim DeMint’s resignation to head the Heritage Foundation, is primed to reign victorious in the general election. His showing in the primary was a massive victory with more than 90% of the vote. If he wins the general, a feat he is expected to easily accomplish, he will be the first black Senator to ever be elected from South Carolina.
Scott won his primary victory in a much more decided fashion that senior Lindsey Graham. While Graham faced multiple opponents and managed to garner 62% of the vote, Scott, who has been a favorite of the Tea Party in South Carolina, faced only one non-serious challenger.

When you are in the dark and cannot find your way, you need to trust to stay in the faith. Let us ask The Lord to help us trust and not lean on our own understanding
We can ask Him for wisdom and to remember His Word in James 1
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind…

There is HOPE for the TEA PARTY this NOVEMBER.
WASHINGTON (June 11, 2014) – Republican tea party forces are rejoicing and the party establishment is somber or altogether silent in the wake of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s primary defeat at the hands of political neophyte David Brat, an unflinching foe of loosening immigration laws.
WASHINGTON (AP) – Immigration may have cost Majority Leader Eric Cantor his election. His defeat almost certainly dooms the issue in the House.
Cantor, R-Va., was supposed to cruise to victory in Tuesday’s GOP primary over Dave Brat, an underfunded political novice who is an economics professor at Randolph-Macon College.
The only question was how wide Cantor’s winning margin would be. Immigration advocates were watching intently, hoping that if it was big enough, Cantor would feel free to green-light action on immigration legislation in the House.

Of course the Earth has shifted on its axis before and establishment Republicans thought it was a backlash against Obama and the Democrats. But last night was different; the establishment had to recognize this as a clear message that people are fed up with Washington.
Fed up with them.
And the one that had to have noticed most was John Boehner’s number one attack Chihuahua, Eric Cantor.
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — In an upset for the ages, Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia, the second-most powerful man in the House, was dethroned Tuesday by a little-known, tea party-backed Republican primary challenger carried to victory on a wave of public anger over calls for looser immigration laws.
“This is a miracle from God that just happened,” exulted David Brat, an economics professor, as his victory became clear in the congressional district around Virginia’s capital city.
