Since the publication of my first three articles on the Michael Brown case (the Michael Brown archive is available here), much–and little–has happened.  The fun of rioting having lost its luster, and the looted stores having lost their merchandise, Ferguson is mostly quiet.   CNN has obtained an audiotape it represents as a tape of the shooting, presenting it as extraordinarily important. That there is apparently no convincing evidence it is what it purports to be is not a bar to yet another breathless media story. On this tape, reportedly as many as ten possible gunshots are audible, which would seem to contradict what appears, for the moment, to be the best evidence that only six were fired.

The New York Times has decided that the word “burly” as in “the burly Michael Brown” is “racially charged,” and now refuses to use…

Aerosmith – I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing

Ronnie's Blog

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing
Watch you smile while you are sleeping
While you’re far away and dreaming
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender
I could stay lost in this moment forever
Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure

Don’t wanna close my eyes
I don’t wanna fall asleep
‘Cause I’d miss you, baby
And I don’t wanna miss a thing

‘Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream would never do
I’d still miss you, baby
And I don’t wanna miss a thing

Lying close to you feeling your heart beating
And I’m wondering what you’re dreaming,
Wondering if it’s me you’re seeing
Then I kiss your eyes and thank God we’re together
And I just wanna stay with you
In this moment forever, forever and ever

I don’t wanna close my eyes
I don’t wanna fall…

Because no one can truly live by the dicatates of a man who valued deceit and death more than truth and life …

Revelation 13:15-18, “The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive amark on their right hand or their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate [ψηφίζω – “reckon”] the number [ἀριθμός – “multitude” of people] of the beast, for it is the number [ἀριθμός – “multitude” of people] of a man [the “prophet” Mohammed]. That number [ἀριθμός – “multitude” as…
