Polanski Victim’s Book Uses Picture He Took

The woman who was sexually assaulted by director Roman Polanski when she was 13 has written a memoir that will feature a cover photo shot by Polanski three weeks before he drugged her and had sex with her.

Samantha Geimer’s publisher says that during her 1993 lawsuit against Polanski, Geimer obtained rights to the pictures Polanski took during two photo sessions in 1977, one of which led to charges that he plied her with half a Quaalude and champagne and raped her.

Polanski, who pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse, was ordered to pay her $500,000 and to turn over the photos.

Geimer has said she forgives him and that she is writing the book to reclaim her identity.

Atria Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster, said it will be releasing Geimer’s book “The Girl: Emerging from the Shadow of Roman Polanski” this fall.

Moviegoers Defy Critics: ‘Man of Steel’ Breaks June Record

It might not be “Iron Man 3” money ($174 million opening weekend), but the Christopher Nolan produced, Zack Snyder directed “Man of Steel,” is on pace to break a June record for a non-sequel with a $120 million weekend haul. This puts Hollywood’s the third attempt at a Superman franchise way ahead of the second, the pitiful “Superman Returns,” which scored only $84.6 million over a five-day weekend.

According to Box Office Mojo, the previous June record holder was “Toy Story 3,” with $110 million. “Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen” came in second with $108 million. If Nikki Finke’s numbers are correct, there is no question “Man of Steel” will beat the non-sequel record. It might, though, beat all records, which is something even Warner Bros. didn’t dare predict.

Charlie Sheen Uses Birth Name for ‘Machete’ Sequel Credits

For the first time ever, actor Charlie Sheen is keeping it real—in a credit sequence, that is.

The Hollywood veteran best known for Two and a Half Men and perennial personal-life mayhem will be credited as “Carlos Estevez,” his birth name, in the upcoming action flick Machete Kills, according to Splash News.

TMZ has obtained a screen capture of Sheen’s appearance in the film’s credit sequence (seen above), which cheekily states, “And Introducing Carlos Estevez.”

Sheen took a stage name in the same style as his father Ramón Antonio Gerardo Estévez, better known as Martin Sheen, by the time of his first major film role, 1984’s Red Dawn. His brother Emilio Estevez declined to follow suit.

He plays the President of the United States in Machete Kills, the star-studded sequel to 2010’s Machete, both directed by Robert Rodriguez.

10 Anti-Abortion Actors, Singers and Celebrities Who Are Openly Pro-Life

Jack Nicholson

He may have played the Joker, but his pro-life stance is no laughing matter. The famed actor is known for womanizing, but he’s also taken some firm and public stances on the issue of abortion.

Live Action News explains: “As a pregnant teenager, Nicholson’s mother was pressured to have an abortion, but she refused. This has shaped Nicholson’s view on abortion, making him one of the few pro-life celebrities.”

“I’m very contra my constituency in terms of abortion because I’m positively against it. I don’t have the right to any other view,” the actor once said, according to a 2003 report in National Review. “My only emotion is gratitude, literally, for my life.”

Justin Bieber

In 2011, the world learned that pop star Justin Bieber is, indeed, pro-life. At the time, considering that Bieber was so young (he was only 16), it was quite odd that Rolling Stone asked for his views on such a heavy subject, but, alas, the outlet did just that.

Obamas Hijack the Oscars

Conservative movie lovers didn’t suffer any serious Red State taunts during the just-wrapped Academy Awards telecast. Michael Moore wasn’t on hand to bash the GOP, and show host Seth MacFarlane trained his immature wit on George Clooney, breast-baring actresses and the show’s ridiculous length.

And then it came time to announce the Best Picture winner, and Jack Nicholson stepped on stage to do the honors. Only Nicholson, and the show’s organizers, had something else in mind.

Enter Michelle Obama.

The First Lady appeared via satellite to not only announce the night’s biggest prize but gave a speech extolling the virtues of the films in play. It was an unprecedented cultural power grab by the Obamas, almost daring conservative viewers to adore her as much as progressives already do.

Network blasted for demonizing ex-‘gays’

A former homosexual who founded Parents and Friends of ExGays and Gays says Hollywood’s latest attack on people who leave the homosexual lifestyle reveals how much “gays” fear those individuals.

“They are so afraid of people discovering their sexuality and realizing that no one is born a homosexual and learning that they can actually change if they want to,” said Greg Quinlan about the issue raised by a recent episode of CBS’ “Criminal Minds.”

“It is for this reason that they preach against us with such hate and venom, attacking us for exercising our right of self-determination,” he said.

The heart of the issue is that if people who leave the homosexual lifestyle exist, it disproves the assumption that some are born homosexual and cannot change, the prevailing belief in the homosexual community.

Sparking the comments was a recent episode of “Criminal Minds” that featured a team of FBI profilers that investigates serial killers. In the Feb. 20 episode, titled “Broken,” a serial killer is murdering women and homosexual men in what appears to be a series of sex crimes.

The episode makes a startling claim as the killer is a person who received conversion therapy as a young man to overcome homosexual attractions. According to the characters in the show, the therapy caused him to believe that acting on his same-sex attraction is wrong. This belief causes him to violently attack people, because he is conflicted about his sexual orientation.

“This man can’t accept his same-sex desires, but he can’t fight them either,” one of the profilers explains. “He’s most likely been repressing all sexual urges for some time.

Michael Moore Recommends Soldiers Punch the Lights Out of People Who Thank Them for Their Service

“Our war department has done little to show you they won’t recklessly put your young life in harm’s way for a cause that has nothing to do with what you signed up for,” he continued. “They will not help you once they’ve used you and spit you back into society. If you’re a woman, they will not protect you from rapists in their ranks. And because you have a conscience and you know right from wrong, you do not want yourself being used to kill civilians in other countries who never did anything to hurt us.”

“Don’t become the next statistic so that General Electric can post another record profit — while paying no taxes — taxes that otherwise would be paying for the artificial leg that they’ve kept you waiting for months to receive,” Moore exclaimed. “And please, next time some ‘supporter of the troops’ says to you with that concerned look on their face, ‘I thank you for your service,’ you have my permission to punch their lights out (figuratively speaking, of course).”
