Lovely People – TRAYVON ACTIVISTS Threaten to Murder Retired Pastor

USA Today reported:

Death threats were the last type of phone calls George A. Zimmermann, 78, thought he’d get after serving for 55 years as his Pennsylvania community’s preacher.

And he never thought he’d be mistaken for the man headlining news these days: George Zimmerman, the Sanford, Fla., neighborhood watch volunteer acquitted in the fatal shooting of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin in February 2012.

Zimmermann, 78, retired to Deland, Fla., 16 years ago from his post at Georgetown United Methodist Church in Paradise, Pa. He says his time in Florida had been relatively peaceful and uneventful – until the phone calls began trickling in.

According to Zimmermann, he started receiving the calls immediately after Zimmerman (with one n), 29, shot the teenager.

“In the beginning, I received four or five calls,” Zimmermann says. “I’d say, ‘Hey, you got the wrong person. I don’t live in Sanford.’ And then it stopped.”

Until the first night of the trial.

On June 25, Zimmermann was awakened by two calls in the middle of the night from protesters, although he says they were tame in comparison with the one he received July 14, a day after the verdict was reached.

“Hey (expletive), you’re the one who killed Trayvon Martin, when your (expletive) get out, you’re dead,” the caller said in a message left on the answering machine.

Here’s the Family Rescued by George Zimmerman That Is Apparently Afraid for Their Lives Because of Liberals

The family rescued last week by exonerated neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman after a car accident has been identified, but a family friend says they are keeping quiet because they are afraid for their lives. Still, that could all change Wednesday.

The Daily Mail tracked down Mark and Dana Michelle Gerstle at their home, but says they are refusing to talk because they don’t want to be accused of painting Zimmerman as a hero and face those who are furious with the jury’s verdict.

“They are very grateful to Zimmerman for what he did, but they do not want to get involved,” a family friend told the Daily Mail.

“There is so much hatred directed towards him they have got to think about their own family. There are a lot of crazies out there. If they say anything in support of him it could backfire.”

“Let’s face it, George Zimmerman is pretty toxic right now,” another friend added.

“Mark has two young children and has got to live his life round here. Why would he want to mark himself out?

“Whatever he says could be taken out of context. If he praises Zimmerman then people will say he is making him into a hero. It is easier if he says nothing.”

JUST AS RUSH PREDICTED… Libs Say Zimmerman Car Rescue Story Was Made Up

Now That Barack Obama Lectured Us on Trayvon Martin Will He Talk About Marley Lion?

Marley Lion was killed in Charleston, South Carolina, at around 4 am on June 16, 2012.
He was 17.

His life and death has been ignored by the national media.
Marley was white. His killers were black.

Unlike Trayvon Martin, Marley Lion was shot in cold blood.
There was no fight. He did not approach the thugs who murdered him.

Two Males, No Men

They don’t make men like they used to. One can consult a Danish study that shows plummeting testosterone levels for scientific confirmation of this. Or, one could more easily turn on any cable news network’s wall-to-wall coverage of the Zimmerman-Martin case, a tragedy involving two males fumbling in the dark on how to be men.

Whatever the protagonists may be guilty of they are surely innocent of being men. The six female jurors, not tasked to reach a verdict on the manhood of the central players, nevertheless know the truth of this more than other trial observers. The Venusians know the Martians better than they know themselves. And vice versa — what do they know of x chromosomes who only x chromosomes know?

On the maturity count, Trayvon Martin might reasonably plead not guilty by reason of chronology. Seventeen-year-old boys quite often act like, in the vernacular of Zimmerman, “f—-ing punks.” Most grow out of it, but Mr. Martin unfortunately will not get that chance. Rarely, in spite of their exaggerated masculine posturing, do teenage boys behave as mature males.

Martin’s Twitter feed reads as a parody of poor grammar and an even more impoverished vocabulary. There, he’s a “No Limit N-gga,” girls he knows are “bitches” and “hoes,” and the primary extracurricular activity he immerses himself in is marijuana. The gold-teeth smile, the tattoos, the ten-day suspension from school, and all the rest appear as pathetic attempts to assert his virility. Yet, as his supporters point out, Trayvon also liked Skittles and Chuck E. Cheese’s. The presentation that Trayvon affected and the Trayvon that his supporters present are, like so many making the journey from adolescence to adulthood, at war internally.

Protesters Plan ‘National Hoodie March’ In Honor Of Thug Martin As Zimmerman Trial Gets Underway

FOX News Orlando reported on the hoodie march, via Free Republic:

A group of protesters plans to hold a “National Hoodie March” in Sanford this morning as jury selection in the George Zimmerman trial gets underway.

The group plans to gather in front of the Seminole County Courthouse at 9 a.m. to demand justice for Trayvon Martin. At noon, protesters wearing hoodies plan to pull their hoodies over their heads.

“We want justice for Trayvon Martin. … This is something we’re determined to struggle for, and you know, it’s the only way it’s going to happen is if people in huge numbers around the country show up and show their solidarity and demand it,” one protester said.

Cops, Witnesses Back Up George Zimmerman’s Version of Trayvon Martin Shooting

Two police reports written the night that George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin said that Zimmerman had a bloody face and nose, according to police reports made public today.

The reports also note that two witness accounts appear to back up Zimmerman’s version of what happened when they describe a man on his back with another person wearing a hoodie straddling him and throwing punches.

It has been such a contentious case that even the evidence is being disputed.

The police report states that Trayvon Martin’s father told an investigator after listening to 911 tapes that captured a man’s voice frantically callling for help that it was not his son calling for help.

But Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s father, claims that is not true. The Martin family lawyer Ben Crump told ABC News that Tracy Martin initially listened to a distorted version of the 911 calls and said he could not identify the voice. But when he listened to a second tape that had been “cleaned,” “He immediately broke down in tears because he knew it was his son calling for help,” Crump said.

The new information is part of a trove of documents released by the Florida State Attorney today in the case against Zimmerman, who is charged with second degree murder for the Feb. 26 killing of Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old African American male.
