‘Wake Up, America!’

Glenn Beck said Wednesday that he doesn’t care if just “four people” read the news stories — he wants his network TheBlaze to continue covering 15-year-old Justina Pelletier’s case until it is resolved.

“Find every reason to talk about it,” he said. “Turn over every stone. Show me everything that people can do and are doing … this is the most important story to me. Because you have a chance. You have the opportunity to save a woman’s life.”

A little more than one year ago, Justina’s parents lost custody of her after disagreeing with a Boston Children’s Hospital diagnosis that she has somatoform disorder, a psychiatric condition. They believe she has mitochondrial disease, a condition she had been receiving treatment for by doctors at Tufts Medical Center.

Contempt Charges Filed Against Dad Who Defied Gag Order to Tell Daughter’s Heartbreaking Story

The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) filed for Lou Pelletier — the father of 15-year-old Justina Pelletier who is the center of a controversy and legal battle involving custody, parents’ rights and two medical diagnoses — to be held in contempt of court, a family source told TheBlaze.

When Pelletier spoke with TheBlaze this week about Justina and the controversy regarding her diagnosis that led custody to be taken away from her parents for the last year, he broke a gag order issued by a Massachusetts judge.

The Unprecedented, Powerful Coalition Three Major Conservative Personalities Are Building Likely Has the Establishment Terrified

Two heads are better than one, as the old saying goes. That surely means that three heads are even better.

If there’s any truth to that saying, the establishment in Washington and progressives everywhere are likely none too pleased to hear that conservative personalities Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Sean Hannity are on the same page and joining forces to help the country get back on what they feel is the right path.

After previously allowing themselves to be caught up in a “stupid” competitive feud in talk radio, Beck revealed on his radio show Thursday that he has spoken with Levin and Hannity and they are all ready to start to “move together.”

The ‘Lone Survivor’ Review So Controversial Glenn Beck Will Pay the Author to Read It To Marcus Luttrell’s Face

Glenn Beck on Wednesday offered to fly Amy Nicholson of LA Weekly to his Dallas studios first class if she will read the review she wrote of “Lone Survivor” in the presence of former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, on whom the film is based.

In her article, Nicholson describes “Lone Survivor” as an embellished “jingoistic snuff film” with an attitude of “brown people bad, American people good.” She also claims the SEALs only faced around 10 enemy Taliban fighters, and seems to belittle the fact that Patrick Robinson helped write the book on which the film is based, because Luttrell was serving another tour of duty.

In addition to calling her a “vile, repugnant, and ignorant liar,” Beck took issue with the film critic’s “sanctimonious” attitude that somehow writing a book is more important than actually “living the story.”

“I mean this sincerely – I will fly you first class,” Beck said. “I will put you up at the Four Seasons … You will dine on the finest possible food, and you will come in here and you will sit down and speak these words to Marcus Luttrell. If you have the balls to say what you just said to Marcus Luttrell and back it up, go for it.”

But the multimedia personality predicted that the “coward” of an author will “hide” behind her cherished word processor while “people like Marcus Luttrell are out doing real things.”

‘Stand With Phil’: See the Support Flooding the Internet for Suspended ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star

Just one day after Phil Robertson’s comments on homosexuality earned him an indefinite suspension from “Duck Dynasty,” the reality show star has received a strong show of support from the governor of his state and others.

Louisiana Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal called it a “messed-up situation when Miley Cyrus gets a laugh, and Phil Robertson gets suspended.”

“Phil Robertson and his family are great citizens of the state of Louisiana. The politically correct crowd is tolerant of all viewpoints, except those they disagree with.” Jindal said in a statement. “I don’t agree with quite a bit of stuff I read in magazine interviews or see on TV. In fact, come to think of it, I find a good bit of it offensive. But I also acknowledge that this is a free country and everyone is entitled to express their views. In fact, I remember when TV networks believed in the First Amendment. It is a messed up situation when Miley Cyrus gets a laugh, and Phil Robertson gets suspended.”

Robertson told GQ Magazine in an interview that he didn’t understand why someone would choose to have sex with a man instead of a woman.

“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical,” Robertson said.

Furious ‘Duck Dynasty’ fans loaded for bear

Sarah Palin and Gov. Bobby Jindal are among those coming to the defense of “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson over his comments on homosexuality, but their words pale in comparison to Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, who is targeting the star’s network with both guns blazing.

A&E Network suspended “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson from his own television show after calling homosexuality illogical, while proffering his male viewpoint preferring female anatomy to that of other men.

The congressman from Texas said he is “fuming” over the controversy.

“Your personal views on private relationships aside, the radical left once again seeks to personally destroy anyone who voices an opinion different than theirs,” writes Stockman.

He continued, “The liberal war on speech must end now. Liberals define “tolerance” the same way the Soviets defined “peace” — the eradication of opposition. They are on a mission to eradicate dissent. Please stand with Phil today.”

He pointed out that Robertson never personally condemned anyone and simply stated what his Christian faith teaches, but may have lost his job.

“And trust me, you are next,” the Texan claimed, warning, “They will target YOU in YOUR workplace if we don’t punch back.”

Whether one agrees with Phil Robertson or not, said Stockman, “it is wrong to take away a man’s job for voicing his personal religious beliefs.”

Stockman also noted he stood up for Tuffy the Rodeo Clown “when the radical Left took away his job for taking part in a skit that has mocked all presidents past and president.”

The National Organization for Marriage is wading into the fray, with an online petition demanding that Robertson be reinstated with an apology from A&E.
