In 2012, Muslims Murdered More Than 11,000 People

While it is no mystery that Islamic extremists have been wreaking havoc on innocent people across the world for well over a millennium, the 2012 death toll of those claimed by its hands is still as disturbing as ever. As the world rings in 2013, the jihadist-monitoring site “The Religion of Peace” (TRP) has tallied the number of people killed in the last year by Islamists, placing the death toll at 11,267 carried out across 2,459 savage terror attacks.

Since we, in today’s day and age, have become desensitized to numbers (understandably so given the carnage taking place across the world on a daily basis), an overview of some of these horrific terror attacks places the gravitas of the matter in proper perspective. While we won’t list all 2,459 attacks here, the Religion of Peace website painstakingly took the time to chronicle each documented terror attack since 2012 commenced, including the siege on our American outpost in Benghazi that left Ambassador Chris Stevens, two Navy SEALs and another civil servant dead.

Below are several screenshots outlining a mere fraction of the online chart to provide context. You will find that these terror attacks carried out by Islamists around the world have spared no one in their bloodlust and quest for dominance. Among those targeted are children, Christian worshippers, elderly Jews, those who hail from a “rival” sects of Islam, women, teachers, Buddhists, Hindu activists and so on. Also included in the list are Israelis wounded or killed by Hamas rocket attacks and suicide bombings as well as attacks on Israeli tourists abroad.

‘Civilization Jihad’

On Wednesday, September 26, TheBlazeTV will launch the first installment of a two-part documentary series exposing an Islamic manifesto now known as “The Project,” which details the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists’ “grand jihad” to methodically subvert and ultimately, take over, the United States and the West.

Drawing on evidence contained in 80 file boxes of documents currently withheld from the American people by the U.S. Department of Justice, “The Project” confirms an array of oddities Americans are witnessing today, including an increase in political correctness with regards to Islam, the cooling of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and the warming of relations between the U.S. and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Be sure to to tune into TheBlazeTV (live or on demand) or DISH channel 212 both Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 8:00 p.m. ET for this never-before told story. The chilling two-part documentary features interviews with Rep. Michele Bachmann, “Blind Sheik” prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, Islam expert Stephen Coughlin and Blaze contributor Erick Stakelbeck among others.

Obama Denounces Anti-Islam Film During U.N. Speech: ‘An Insult Not Only to Muslims, But to America as Well’

President Barack Obama gave his highly-anticipated speech in front of the United Nations General Assembly this morning, posing a challenge to the international community that the roots of turmoil in the Middle East be confronted.

Considering recent events, Obama discussed the ongoing anti-American turmoil unfolding across the globe. In his speech, he declared that “there are no words that excuse the killing of innocent” and that there is “no video that justifies an attack on an embassy.”

After heralding democracy and prior to delving into the importance of free speech, Obama made it known that the anti-Islam film “Innocence of Muslims” is “an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well.”

The president did take the time to lambaste those who decry insults against the Prophet Muhammad, but who ignore insults waged against Jesus Christ and other symbols of religious importance.

“The future must not belong to those who lander the prophet of Islam but to be credible those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see in the images of Jesus Christ that are desecrated or churches destroyed or the Holocaust that is denied,” Obama proclaimed.

Watch some of Obama’s comments, below:

Less than a year after its offices were firebombed and during a week gripped by anti-Western violence in the Muslim world, French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo is holding no punches, publishing on Wednesday cartoons depicting the prophet Mohammed naked. And now fear over backlash has prompted the French to close embassies and schools across the Middle East.

Magazine Editor Stephane Charbonnier says that the pictures will “shock those who will want to be shocked.” Reuters reports from Paris:

Issues of the magazine hit newsstands with a front cover showing an Orthodox Jew pushing a turbaned figure in a wheelchair with several caricatures of the Prophet on its inside pages, including some of him naked.
The front page cartoon had the wheelchair-bound figure saying “You mustn’t mock“ under the headline ”Untouchable 2″, a reference to a hugely popular French movie about a paralyzed rich white man and his black assistant.

CNN Releases Photo, Personal Info of Filmmaker; Family Forced out of Home

The Associated ‘with terrorists’ Press claims to have outed him, the media (and Muslims who remain silent) have forced him out of his own home while the LA County sheriff’s assist, and CNN Releases Photo, Personal Info Of Filmmaker …for Muslims to finish him off.

This morning on CNN, the identity and past of scapegoated filmmaker Nikoula Nikoula was revealed to American audiences despite the private citizen’s extraordinary attempts to conceal his identity.

During his late night frog march with Los Angeles County Deputies last week, Nikoula wore a heavy winter coat, scarf and hat with sunglasses to conceal his identity, this despite a heat wave that has left Southern California sweltering even in the middle of the night. The efforts to conceal his identity was due to death threats made against him from radical Islamist terrorists who, according to the White House, see the YouTube video Nikoula produced as justification for cold-blooded murder.

CNN acknowledged this fact and then went on to show a picture of Nikoula as well as reveal information that they boastfully said they “dug up” on the filmmaker. CNN went on to editorialize by saying the film would be “Oscar worthy, if HATEFUL were a category.” This continues CNN’s long history of going beyond reportage of “facts,” as they pretend to do, and actual advocacy for the agenda of America’s enemies. Former Chairman Ted Turner was famous for his support of the Soviet Union during the cold war and CNN gained exclusive access to Saddam Hussein’s Iraq while staying silent about many of the regime’s atrocities they witnessed.

One wonders if CNN would have done all this digging on author Salmon Rushdie when he was first threatened with a fatwah in 1989. At the time, Rushdie was celebrated and hailed as a courageous artist for penning “The Satanic Verses” which radical Islamists found so offensive Rushdie was sentenced to death in absentia in Iran.

Here we are, only 23 years later, and CNN, the most trusted name in news, aids the terrorists in finding their man… and aids the Obama Administration in furthering the scape-goating of Nikoula and his video to distract from their failed leadership in the Middle East.

The Controversial History Surrounding Muhammad & Islam

Islam is one of the world’s most popular religions, but it’s also among the most complex and misunderstood faith systems. This fact remains, despite its prominence in terms of the number of adherents and its prevalence in mainstream news media. When considering an overall analysis, there are a wide variety of reasons why the Muslim faith is so difficult to pin down.

To begin, political events (September 11 and international terror incidents) have helped to color the public’s sometimes negative perception of the faith. As a result, there’s an overwhelming tendency to view the Muslim religion as a singular entity — however, this oversimplifies the dynamics both within and surrounding the faith.

Considering Islam’s wide reach into diverse territories, there are a multitude of traditions, beliefs and customs that can be found within the Muslim umbrella. Many times, media report about the Islamic faith as though it is overwhelmingly linear. But, like many other religious traditions, the customs and practices that are undertaken by adherents greatly differ — as do the interpretations of its central commandments.

Operating as though all Muslims are coequal in terms of theology and outward expression is akin to claiming that all Protestants and Catholics believe in the same worship mechanisms and doctrine. Just as there are multiple denominations within the Christian and Jewish realm, so are there in the Islamic sphere.

Exploring the Muslim faith, then, can’t be done using a cookie-cutter approach. One must contextualize and consider all of the attributes that lead to the multitude of interpretations that exist within the religious structure.

After all, context is key. This is the same ideological construct one would use when exploring differing Christian ideals. There are specific historical and cultural happenings that led to different Christ-centric denominations. This is the same ideal governing Islam. While the majority of Muslims are people who would never subscribe to violence to advance a cause, many groups and, subsequently, individuals who embrace more radical interpretations of the faith would — and, in fact, do use horrific tactics.

Today, 1.6 billion individuals around the world call themselves Muslims (23.4 percent of the overall global population). The BBC has a list that helps to frame the faith’s central components in some quick-and-easy bullet points:

Real Reason Behind the U.S. Embassy Attacks was to Strip U.S. of Free Speech

The bloody attacks on U.S. embassies in Egypt and Libya that left four American public servants, including a U.S. ambassador dead, have sparked international outrage and controversy. Islamists claim that the catalyst for the riots was the release of an American movie critical to Islam, but according to Middle East and foreign policy experts interviewed by TheBlaze, there is a more sinister motivation at play for these bloody acts of aggression than meets the eye.

The film, to experts, only served as a “convenient excuse” for Islamists — particularly Salafists and members of the Muslim Brotherhood — to escalate tensions to a fever pitch in the hopes of achieving their ultimate goal: To make “slandering” Islam unlawful on an international level.

If it sounds too far-fetched to come to fruition, those whose life work has been to study, analyze, and in many instances prosecute Islamic terrorists, provide some compelling food for thought. First it is important to understand the current complexity of the relationship between the U.S., Libya and Egypt following the Arab Spring uprising.

Obama Takes America and the World Back to 1979

President Barack Obama today “strongly condemned” the Islamist attack that killed four American diplomats in Libya, but he also used the same statement to condemn Americans’ criticism of Islam.

“While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants,” he said in a 7:21 a.m. statement.

The attack in Libya came as Islamists also broke into the U.S. embassy in Egypt, and marks the growing clout of popular Islamist groups following the U.S.-backed removal of those countries’ authoritarian governments.

Obama’s two-sided message came only a few hours after Gov. Mitt Romney accused him of sympathizing with the Islamists who attacked the U.S diplomatic sites on the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2011 attack by other Islamists that killed 3,000 Americans.

“I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt,” Romney said. But, he added, it “is disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks,” said his late-night Sept. 11 statement.

Egyptian protesters, largely ultra conservative Islamists, have climbed the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, made their way into the courtyard and brought down the flag. They then replaced it with a black flag with an Islamic inscription to protest a film deemed offensive to Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

Hundreds protested outside the embassy Tuesday against the film. Egyptian media say the movie was recently produced in the United States. The film, clips of which are available on the social website YouTube, show the prophet having sex and question his role as the messenger of God’s words.
