Attention All Tea Party Groups: Now Is the Time to Speak Out – Now Is the Time to Stand Up Against This Horrid Assault on Liberty

In 2009 Barack Obama promised to remake America.
We had other thoughts.

We stood united against this destructive regime.

Because of that we were attacked by the media, unions, far left groups, politicians and the IRS.

Today, once again, we must stand up against the public assault on our freedoms.

Now is the time to speak out.

The breadth and scope of the IRS scandal is growing as details continue to trickle out almost by the hour. Initially, the IRS, the White House and the MSM tried to shape this as an isolated incident in a single location. It is directly because of the bravery of Patriots from across the nation willing to share their stories on the record that that narrative is being defeated and the depths of the scandal is only now beginning to be seen.

Additional stories continue to be shared with me but many are afraid to go public with the information in fear of additional, and possibly even more invasive, punishment at the hands of the IRS.

Those fears are understandable. But the time has come for all of us to step out of the shadows the left is trying so desperately to push us into. There is strength in numbers and we need to provide those pushing for investigations an overwhelming and specific body of proof of this assault on liberty so that the IRS, the Obama administration and the MSM are unable to either ignore this scandal or try to minimize it.

The truth is, had the Benghazi whistle blowers not come forward, or had it been a single testimony, that scandal would already have been swept under the rug. It is the essential bravery of these fellow Americans that kept that from happening.

We need conservative and Tea Party groups from across the Nation to step forward and share, publically, the examples of IRS abuse that they have been subjected to either as political organizations or individuals facing further personal or business scrutiny for their associations.

Remember, when Obamacare is fully implemented, this is the agency charged with oversight. If we sit by quietly, silenced by fear and bullying, the reach and ability of this agency and its cohorts on the left will become more powerful and more silencing.

Winter Revolution

During this weekend’s broadcast of “The McLaughlin Group,” host John McLaughlin asked his panel about what would happen to Occupy Wall Street as its novelty wears off and the weather gets colder. Amid mixed reactions, conservative MSNBC contributor Pat Buchanan described a scenario where freezing temperatures bring out the movement’s violent side.

“It’s going to end very, very badly with these folks in the winter,” Buchanan said, “and they’re not going to be getting publicity and they’re going to be acting up and acting badly like the worst of the demonstrators in the 60s … not just overnight camping: They’re going to start fighting with the cops.”

Newsweek/Daily Beast liberal contributor Eleanor Clift suggested the movement would stick around, drawing parallels with the early twentieth-century women’s suffrage movement.

“There was one fight with the cops in Oakland: An Iraq war veteran was hit with a projectile in the head and is in critical condition,” Clift said.

“I don’t know who you blame for that, but I know how I view it. I think they have staying power … and secondly the suffragists who stood in front of the White House — they thought they would go home when it got cold. They heated bricks for them to stand on. I think these people have some staying power.”

Obama is stoking the fires of revolution

Hard to believe, but President Obama — one of the most divisive and partisan chief executives in American history — once posed as a messenger of national unity.

During his keynote address to the 2004 Democratic National Convention, then-Senate candidate Obama proclaimed, “… there’s not a liberal America and a conservative America; there’s the United States of America!”

Well, apparently Obama now sees a different and thoroughly bifurcated nation, a “good” America and a “rich” America. And in order to secure the votes of the former, he is disgracefully fomenting hatred toward the latter.

Take his “jobs bill.” It never had a snowball’s chance in Hades of passing, and he knew it. It was designed solely to help him gin up hatred for “the rich”, whom he would force to “pay their fair share” were it not for those dastardly, obstructionist Republicans in the House of Representatives.

The malicious intent behind such demagoguery is exceeded only by its utter disconnect from reality — the “rich” already pay the vast majority of taxes. The top 10 percent of income earners pay some 70 percent of federal income taxes, according to the National Taxpayers Union.

Meanwhile, the president’s erstwhile Democratic allies in the Senate have actually hindered passage of his jobs bill even as House Republicans could only talk about doing so.

But no matter. As independent voters — who handed him the presidency because they believed his promise to be a healer — turn from him in droves, the president is forced to play to the basest prejudices of his left-wing acolytes.

And the strategy has already borne (poisonous) fruit: As Mort Zuckerman, billionaire publisher and one-time Obama booster lamented to the Wall Street Journal recently: “… the door to [the Occupy Wall Street movement] was opened by the Obama administration, going after the ‘millionaires and billionaires.’… To fan that flame of populist anger I think is very divisive and very dangerous for this country.”

To say the least. And having lit the fire of this resentment, Obama is now furiously fanning the flames. In a recent interview with ABC News’ Jake Tapper, Obama said, “… what I’ve said is that I understand the frustrations that are being expressed in those [Wall Street] protests,” and that he wants them to “… know that we understand their struggles, we are on their side.”

He’s on their side? What side is that, exactly? Consider what one speaker at the Los Angeles branch of the “occupation” forces told a crowd of sympathetic protesters:

“Ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class. Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

And that sentiment is widely shared among the protesters. According to a survey conducted by pollster Doug Schoen, a full 31 percent of the Wall Street occupiers “… would support violence to advance their agenda,” the substance of which consists primarily of “… opposition to free-market capitalism and support for radical redistribution of wealth.”

‘Marxist Revolution’: Beck Shows O’Reilly How Organized Effort Guides World-Wide ‘Occupy’(fleabagger) Protests

Revolution is Here

How delicious is irony, how fickle fate?

Just a little more than two years ago, liberals were ecstatic about Barack Obama’s election and Democrats’ control of Congress. Liberal pundits were all atwitter about the brand new Democratic Era that voters had ushered in. America would finally become what America should have been years ago: a European-style social democracy.

Boy, did Democrats misread their mandate! With very little hindsight needed, it’s apparent to all but ideologically-blinkered liberals that the Democrats’ gross overreach isn’t what voters wanted or expected. Voters wanted a redo of the Clinton years. Instead, in the person of Barack Obama, voters got an amalgam of FDR and LBJ with a dash of Neville Chamberlin thrown in.

But here’s the real kicker. Two years of Obama-Reid-Pelosi overreach and excesses may have been the table-setter for the real revolution now unfolding. Voters and taxpayers first needed to see the irresponsibility and recklessness of unalloyed liberalism to appreciate that conservative government is far superior. Thank you, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.

Of course, the real revolution began last year with the 2010 midterm elections. Yes, the GOP made the largest gains in U.S. House seats since 1948. But the underappreciated story is that the GOP racked up huge gains in state legislative contests, and further down ballot, Republicans swept plenty of local offices. State legislatures control congressional redistricting. Republicans now dominate enough key statehouses to lock-in GOP congressional electoral advantages for a decade.

Had voters limited their ballots to throwing out the rascals in Congress, a fair argument could be made that 2010 was just a protest vote — an attempt by voters to shake up the Democrats. But when voters drill down to change party control of legislatures, city halls, and county commissions, you can bet that they’re thoroughly repudiating the party in power. The 2010 repudiation of Democrats was a clear expression of what voters did and didn’t want from government.

Move now to the present time. Republicans are on the march in Congress. Late last week, House Republicans passed a budget bill containing $61 billion in cuts. It’s not the $100 billion that conservatives aimed for, but it’s substantial and can be considered a down payment. The House Republican proposal now goes to the Senate. The budget process wrangling is just in its first phase. Moving forward, the GOP will have multiple opportunities to push more cuts.

SEIU Thugs Plan A Revolution Against America/Are the Purple Thugs Coming to Your City?

If you were thinking that the protests in Madison, Wisconsin just developed organically, think again. There is a well coordinated machine operating in the background, handling details like sign printing, busing folks to and from the protest, as well as scheduling groups of various members to appear on a rotating basis. They have also developed a game plan for the week ahead, not just in Wisconsin but at state capitals across the country.

The country’s second largest labor union, SEIU is helping the Wisconsin teachers as well as assisting in revving up potential protesters around the country. This list was copied from their web page just today;

The Sound of Silence

For the second time in two years, tens of thousands of Iranian citizens are protesting in the streets of Tehran against their repressive government. Although thousands were jailed, tortured, and killed by Iranian security forces in the first waves of protests in 2009, a strong populist revolution is still alive and struggling in Iran.

As opposed to the revolution in Egypt, an overthrow of the regime in Iran could be staggeringly beneficial to the United States. Egypt is almost certain to move away from friendship with the US and the treaty with Israel, and toward an oppressive Islamic rule as orchestrated by the Muslim Brotherhood. There are only potential disasters lurking in this regime change.

A change in governance in Iran, on the other hand, likely could result in a reduction in antagonism toward “The Great Satan” and “The Little Satan” (i.e., Iran’s characterization of the US and Israel). Even more importantly, it could significantly slow or completely halt their nuclear weapons program, which is the greatest single threat to global stability in human history.

The obvious question in regard to this revolutionary dichotomy is: Why is the Obama administration so vocally supportive of the populist revolt in Egypt, but so deadly silent about Iran? Why is Obama apparently silently supporting a regime that is our sworn mortal enemy over another that has been our steadfast friend and ally for over thirty years?

There is just not enough objective evidence to develop an educated conclusion as to the rationale for this foreign policy strategy. Since Obama himself will not tell us, we can only make blind assumptions based on his actions and behavior. And these appear erratic, inconsistent, and illogical for the leader of the free world.

It is almost as though his intentions are malevolent toward his own country, as crazy as that sounds.

We are assured by Michael Medved’s op ed headline in Monday’s Wall Street Journal that “Obama Isn’t Trying to ‘Weaken America'”. I feel much better now. Mr. Medved must be privy to some information not available to the rest of us, as the circumstantial evidence points toward the opposite conclusion.
