Oprah Winfrey Is Pushing For More Racial Violence Against Whites

Oprah Winfrey said the racial circumstances of the George Zimmerman case extend far beyond whether anyone actually used the N-word or not.

“A lot of people, they think if they’re not using the N-word themselves, they actually, physically are not using the N-word themselves and do not have, harbor ill will towards black people, that it’s not racist. But, you know, to me it’s ridiculous to look at that case and not to think that race was involved,” Winfrey said.

She told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in an interview aired Thursday that it’s “not a part” of her to ever use the N-word, though she can “understand why other people do.”

“It’s impossible for me to do it because I know the history, and I know that for so many of my relatives whom I don’t know, whom I don’t know by name, my ancestors — that was the last word they heard as they were being strung up by a tree. The last degradation that they experienced as some harm was caused to them,” Winfrey said. “Out of respect to those who have come before and the price that they paid to rid themselves of being relegated to that word, I just don’t use it.”

She also stood by her comparison of Trayvon Martin to Emmett Till, saying both are symbols of their times.

“The truth of the matter is Emmett Till became a symbol for those times as Trayvon Martin has became a symbol for this time,” Winfrey said. “There are multiple Trayvon Martins whose names never make the newspapers or the headlines…there were multiple Emmett Tills, there were multiple lynchings, there were multiple young black boys…whose names are not remembered and often not even recorded.”

Thousands Petition to Cancel Ted Nugent Show Because Trayvon Martin Was a ‘Dope Smoking, Racist Gangsta Wannabe’

Several thousand people are petitioning a Connecticut nightclub to cancel an upcoming performance by rocker Ted Nugent after he referred to Trayvon Martin as a “dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe.”

Nugent made the remark last month in an op-ed praising the jury for acquitting George Zimmerman in the Florida teen’s shooting death. He was castigating President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and everyone else who “refus[ed] to admit that the 17-year-old dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe Trayvon Martin was at all responsible for his bad decisions and standard modus operendi of always taking the violent route.”

Barbara Fair told WFSB-TV she opposes Nugent appearing at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Conn. and has 3,000 signatures asking the venue to pull his Tuesday show — even if they know that at this point it’s probably futile.

“We know at this point he’s not going to cancel,” Fair told the station. “We don’t expect him to cancel. At least listen to the voices in the community who frequent your club all the time.”

Rapper Jay Z and his wife, R&B singer Beyonce Along With Salisbury’s Own Ron Pagano Join The “Lynch Zimmerman” Rallies. Will They Push For Race Riots Next?

Rapper Jay Z and his wife, R&B singer Beyonce, joined the Rev. Al Sharpton and Trayvon Martin’s mother at a Saturday rally for Martin in Harlem, N.Y.—one of at least 100 protest gatherings scheduled to take place across America.

Sharpton’s National Action Network organized the “Justice for Trayvon” rallies and vigils outside federal buildings from New York and Los Angeles to Wichita, Kan., and Atlanta, where people stood in the rain at the base of the federal courthouse, with traffic blocked on surrounding downtown streets. Most rallies were scheduled for noon local times.

Jay Z with Justin Timberlake dedicated the song “Forever Young” to Martin during their closing number at Yankee Stadium Friday night: “Everybody put a cell phone and light it up,” Jay Z said according to TMZ, “let’s light the sky for Trayvon Martin tonight in here.”

Beyonce dedicated her rendition of “I Will Always Love You” to Martin during a concert a week ago today, just after George Zimmerman was acquitted of murdering the unarmed teenager in Sanford, Fla., last year.

In addition to pushing the Justice Department to investigate civil rights charges against Zimmerman, Sharpton told supporters outside his headquarters on W. 145th Street that he wants to see a rollback of stand-your-ground self-defense laws.

I am privileged and honored to be speaking at the Vigil for Trayvon Martin, part of the 100 City Vigil, organized by the Nat’l Action Network (NAN) and headed by the Rev. Al Sharpton. The Vigil will take place on Saturday, July 20, 12 NOON. The location is at the Billy Gene Jackson Sr. Park, 420 N. Lake Park Drive, Salisbury.

As most of us, I was shocked and bewildered by the prosecution’s failure to obtain a guilty verdict against Zimmerman. It seemed clearcut to me, as a former practicing attorney who had handled many criminal trials, that the issue upon which the entire case turned, was Zimmerman’s failure to follow the directions of a police officer. When he called 911 to report “suspicious activity” by a African-American youth, he was directed to stay in his car and not approach the individual. The resulting injuries he suffered and the death of Trayvon Martin, can be directly linked to his refusal to follow those directions. He put his life, and the life of Trayvon Martin, in jeopardy, by failing to stay in his car and instead, following, approaching and confronting a young man who had committed no crime, and for which he had no authority to act. The only reason Zimmerman felt safe enough to challenge the young man is because he knew that if things got out of hand, he had a “great equalizer” that he could use to end any violence. Such is not the actions of a brave and moral man, but, instead, they are the actions of a bully vigilante, intent on creating a situation where he could retaliate, free from repercussions, against those “punks.”

Mark O’Mara Explains Why the Family Rescued by George Zimmerman Inexplicably Canceled Its Press Conference, Liberal Threats

The family that George Zimmerman helped save from a car wreck last week backed out of a news conference to thank him publicly because they feared “blowblack” from the mere association with him, Zimmerman’s attorney said.

Mark and Dana Gerstle had planned to speak out Wednesday about how Zimmerman helped rescue them and their two children after their SUV flipped off the road last week, just days after a jury acquitted Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

“In any way connecting yourself with George Zimmerman is right now very toxic, so though they wanted to thank him publicly, they could not for the possibility of blowback against them,” defense attorney Mark O’Mara told CNN.

O’Mara said Zimmerman was leaving the scene after helping the family with another bystander when law enforcement arrived and recognized him. Despite police reports documenting Zimmerman’s presence, theories have sprung up that the accident was somehow staged to rehabilitate Zimmerman’s image.
