Women Not ‘Dumb Enough’ to Accept Obama

Ann Romney entered the Tampa Bay Times Forum to thunderous applause and cheers. Her speech focused on the strengths exemplified in mothers — working or no — and their efforts not just in holding the home together but holding the country together. Her speech was a stark contrast to the left’s demonizing portrayal of Republican women.

“It’s the moms who’ve always had to work a little hard to make everything right,” she remarked, “It’s the the moms who hold this country together.”

Her message was one of empowerment, not victimhood. She opened by asking for prayers for those in Tropical Storm Issac’s path, then launched into a shot against the rhetoric of “war on women” from the Obama campaign.

She received a standing ovation when she asked: “A storybook marriage? Not at all. Mitt and I have a real marriage.”

“You may not agree with Mitt’s positions or his politics… only 13% of Massachusetts is Republican, so it’s not like it’s a surprise to me,” she said, before promising, “no one will work harder than Mitt Romney to make this country a better place to live.” It echoes the question conservatives have been asking for months: can you honestly say that you’re better off now than you were four years ago?”

“Mitt Romney was not handed his success,” Romney stated. “He built it!” Her words directly contradicted President Obama’s stereotype of the Republican candidate: “Mitt doesn’t like to talk about how he helps others. He sees it as a privilege, not a talking point.” After listing his accomplishments in Massachusetts, Mrs. Romney proclaimed, “this is the man America needs… This man will not fail.”

The Truth
by Brandon J Raub on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:00 am

America has lost itself. We have lost who we truly are. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave.

This is the land of Thomas Jefferson.

This is the land of Benjamin Franklin.

This is the land of Fredrick Douglas.

This is the land of Smedley Butler.

This is the land John F. Kennedy.

This is the land of Martin Luther King.

This is the land where the cowboy wins. This is the land where you can start from the bottom and get to the top. This is the land where regardless of you race and ethnicity you can succeed and build a better life for you and your family. This is the land where every race coexists peacefully. This is the land where justice wins. This is the land where liberty dwells. This is the land where freedom reigns. This is the land where we help the poor, and people help each other. This is land where people beat racism.

The Federal Reserve is wrong. They have designed a system based off of greed and fear. They designed a system to crush the middle class between taxes and inflation. This is wrong, and it is unjust. It is wrong.

We have allowed ourselves to be deceived and seduced by the powers of the printing press. It is not a good system. It discourages saving: the foundation for all stable economic activity. The Federal Reserve is artificially manipulating interest rates and creating phony economic data.

This thing has deceived our entire nation.

They created it in 1913. They also created the income tax in 1913. They encouraged the growth of debt so they can tax you on it. There is interest on the debt. Your government is in bed with these people. They want to enslave you to the government so that they can control every aspect of your lives. It is an empire based on lies. They operate of greed and fear.

There is a better way. It’s called freedom. Freedom is called a lot of things. But there is a true meaning. It means very simply that you have the right to do whatever you want as long as you are not infringing on the freedoms of other people.

I firmly believe that God set America apart from the other nations of the world. He saved a place where people could come to to escape bad systems of goverment. This system we have created works. It really works.

There is evil going on all around the world. The United States was meant to lead the charge against injustice, but through our example not our force. People do not respond to having liberty and freedom forced on them.

Men and Women follow courage. They follow leadership, and courage. Our example has paved the way for people all around the world to change their forms of government.

Force is not the way because liberty is a powerful concept. The idea that men can govern themselves is the basis for every just form of government.

We can govern ourselves. We do not need to be governed by men who want to install a one world banking system. These men have machine hearts. Machine and unnatural hearts.

They have blocked out the possibility of a better world. They fear human progress. They have monopolies on everything.

This life can be free and beautiful. There are enough resources on this earth to support the world’s population. There are enough resources on this earth to feed everyone. There is enough land for everyone to own their own land and farm, and produce their own energy.

These people have been hiding technology. There are ways to create power easily. There is technology that can provide free cheap power for everyone. There are farming techniques that can feed the entire world.

The Bill of Rights is being systematically dismantled. Men have spilled their blood for those rights.

Your sons and daughters, your brothers and sisters, and Americas best young men and women are losing their limbs. They are losing their lives. They are losing the hearts. They do not know why they are fighting. They are killing. And they do not know why.

They have done some extraordinary acts. Their deeds go before them. But these wars are lies. They are lies. They deceived our entire nation with terrorism. They have gotten us to hand them our rights. Our Rights! Men died for those rights!

September Eleventh was an inside job. They blew up a third building in broad daylight. Building 7.

Your leaders betrayed you.

You elected an aristocracy. They are beholden to special interests. They were brainwashed through the Council on Foreign Relations. Your leaders are planning to merge the United States into a one world banking system. They want to put computer chips in you.

These men have evil hearts. They have tricked you into supporting corporate fascism. We gave them the keys to our country. We were not vigilant with our republic.

There is hope. BUT WE MUST TAKE OUR REPUBLIC BACK.

The Salisbury Friends Worship Group of the Society of Friends (Quakers)

The Religious Society of Friends, also known as the Quakers, of which the Salisbury Friends Worship Group is a part, is a denomination or movement within the larger Christian community with a rich and interesting history. Originally a movement of the Holy Spirit in England, Quakers came to America and settled in Maryland, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Delaware, and other areas of the Northeast. They soon spread across the country and the world.
Today, Quakers continue to meet together for worship in meetinghouses, homes and other locations. While we honor our past, we seek to be a lively and vital Spirit-led community that reaches out to all with a living faith and hope in Christ Jesus, our Teacher and Lord who has come to teach His people Himself.
A Quaker meeting for worship involves the congregation gathering at a pre-set time in order to wait silently, remembering the promise of our Lord that where two or three are gathered together in His name, there He is in the midst of us. As led by the Holy Spirit, Friends may rise to sing, pray, read scripture, or minister in word to fellow believers, if they sense the Lord has truly given them something to share at that moment. All are welcome to worship with us.

Holding Christ-centered, unprogrammed meetings for worship the second and fourth Sundays of every month at 1 p.m. at Community of Joy church, located at 302 South Blvd., Salisbury, MD 21801. Telephone: (443) 735-6217, Email: salisburyquakers@aol.com.

Freedom From Religion Foundation Continues Assault on Common Sense and Truth

In case you engage in a conversation with one of Obama’s Children

Taxes have come to the forefront of debate lately, thanks to Obama’s children — the useful idiots the first thing about taxes if their liberal arts degree’s depended on it. They are only concerned about taxes as they apply to the rich … their knowledge begins and ends with this: The rich need to pay more taxes. You’ll see their signs, “eat the rich” or “make them pay.” So if you are unfortunate enough to engage with one of Obama’s children, be armed with the latest facts on the rich and taxes. From Michael Walsh at National Review:

* In tax year 2009, the top 1 percent of filers — those “millionaires and billionaires” with adjusted gross annual incomes of more $343,927 whom the Occupy Wall Street rabble is demonizing — paid nearly 37 percent of federal income taxes.

* The top 10 percent with incomes over $112,124 (say, a New York City cop and a teacher filing jointly) paid more than 70 percent of income taxes.

* The top 50 percent (starting with princely incomes over $32,396) paid — wait for it — nearly 98 percent of all federal taxes.

Here are a few more fun stats from the Tax Foundation … well … as fun as taxes can be:

* In 2009, the top 1 percent of taxpayers—1,379,822 of them—paid more than the bottom 90% combined. Geographically, this is equivalent to a city the size of San Antonio, TX paying more in income taxes than every person living west of the Mississippi.

* Likewise, the top 0.1 percent—138,000 taxpayers—paid a greater share than the bottom 75%. In other words, a city the size of Dayton, OH would have paid more than a country the size of Germany.

Obama’s wealth envy campaign is based on fear, not facts.

The difference between the lazy occupy wall street people and the Tea Party

the occupy wall strett people keep asking the government for everything(i.e. the taxpayers) while the Tea party asks the government to get out of our way. Occupy wall street wants someone else to pay for their debts,, the tea party want to be able to live and not have the government suck the life out of everyone.

Let the lazy ignorant and stupid feed off of themselves. If they do not believe in God and believe in survival of the fittest, well then, the world will be a better place……………

Non blond-haired, blue eyed man who isn’t a Christian charged in terror plot

We don’t want to say his nationality or religion. That might set off the PC Brigades who constantly remind us that White Christians are terrorists too and identifying a Muslim as a terrorist is unfair and only gets people mad at worshipers of Allah.

True. And it’s also true that White Christians can be terrorists too. In this case, however – as in 99% of all terrorist plots – the perp just happens to be a Muslim.

The Hill:

The plans focused on the use of three small remote-controlled drone-like aircraft loaded with C-4 plastic explosives, which he planned to fly into the Capitol and the Pentagon using GPS equipment, according to the DOJ.

The DOJ stressed that the public was never in danger from the explosive devices, which it said were controlled at all times by undercover FBI officials who closely monitored Ferdaus as he allegedly developed his plot.

According to the DOJ, Ferdaus aimed to create a devastating psychological impact with the attacks, saying at one point, “I just can’t stop; there is no other choice for me.”

[…]

“During a June 2011 meeting, he appeared gratified when he was told that his first phone detonation device had killed three U.S. soldiers and injured four or five others in Iraq,” according to the DOJ. “Ferdaus responded, ‘That was exactly what I wanted.'”

Last week, Ferdaus gave the FBI agents a training video he made demonstrating how to make cellphone detonators, authorities said.

According to the DOJ, a focal point of Ferdaus’s plots revolved around “jihad” and his desire to carry out the will of Allah.

Note the word jihad in scare quotes – as if it really doesn’t exist and can be safely put out of mind as a motivation for the plot.

Oh – and don’t forget. Not all Muslims are terrorists:

The U.S. attorney for the District of Massachusetts, Carmen M. Ortiz, stressed that any underlying religious motives to Ferdaus’s actions should not reflect on the Muslim culture at-large.

“I want the public to understand that Mr. Ferdaus’s conduct, as alleged in the complaint, is not reflective of a particular culture, community or religion,” Ortiz said.

“In addition to protecting our citizens from the threats and violence alleged today, we also have an obligation to protect members of every community, race and religion against violence and other unlawful conduct,” he said.

Duh.

Still waiting for the moderate Muslims to weigh in, except that the US attorney pretty much took the words right out of their mouths. They will condemn the terrorist but reiterate what the US attorney was careful to point out; don’t judge us by the actions of the worst of us; judge us by the actions of all of us.

Fair enough. When I hear an unqualified condemnation of not only the actions of this terrorist, but all Islamic terrorism, I will judge the Muslim community in America as being worthy of admiration and support.
