A process is currently in motion to put a massive industrial-sized house operation at the northwest corner of Walston switch and Shavox Roads.

 

At least four to eight 60-foot by 600-foot chicken houses are planned, which if approved would result in millions of chickens processed each year and thousands of trucks transporting chickens on Walston Switch and Shavox roads.

Foster-care officials declare parents with traditional values unacceptable

A video has been uncovered of Massachusetts officials promising to weed out foster parents with conservative values who would only “tolerate” a youth’s gender confusion and not endorse it.

The video was featured by political activist Amy Contrada, who researches family issues through the non-profit Massachusetts-based group Mass Resistance organization.

In a new report, she wrote: “It’s now official policy in Massachusetts. Adults holding traditional values will no longer be allowed to adopt or be foster parents.”

Contrada said the video is of a Boston Bar Association forum with the state Department of Children and Families and the state agency on homosexual youth.

“The DFC speakers confirmed that they are ‘weeding out’ adoptive and foster parents who are not willing to wholly accept and support LGBT (lesbian, “gay,” bisexual, or transgender) self-identification by a child in their care,” she wrote.

Michelle Gordon, a recruitment officer for the state child welfare office, is shown on the video speaking.

“We are sort of setting new expectations,” Gordon said. “We’re weeding out some of this passiveness and sort of destructive behaviors that are occurring. It is often so subtle.

“There is some weeding out of foster homes that are still going on,” she said.

House Republicans Announce They Will Defy Harry Reid

House Republicans announced on Saturday afternoon they would vote on a plan that seeks to delay President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law by one year.

“The American people don’t want a government shut down and they don’t want ObamaCare,” said a joint statement from House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and GOP Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA).

“That’s why later today, the House will vote on two amendments to the Senate-passed continuing resolution that will keep the government open and stop as much of the president’s health care law as possible,” it continued.

War On Children: Yet Another Public School Teacher Accused Of Improper Relationship With Kids

It seems like almost every day we read a new account of unionized public school officials engaging in improper conduct with children.

A second-grade teacher and an assistant principal have been removed from student contact at Jordan Elementary Community School in the Rogers Park neighborhood while Chicago Public Schools conducts an investigation into their conduct.

“Chicago Public Schools is reassigning both employees away from the classroom pending the outcome of our investigation,” CPS said in a statement.

Don’t worry about these potential predators. The union has their backs!

CPS has been investigating allegations for the past few months, Miranda said. “There’s a process to these things agreed upon in the union contract,” he said.

Parents are rightfully upset because the school system never informed them that there was a problem during the past few months while an investigation was being conducted. Sound familiar?

Maybe before throwing stones at the Catholic Church, progressives should clean up their own institutions, which appear to be far less safe than any church.

British Doctors Describe NHS as ‘Worse Than Communist China’

Proponents of President Obama’s “Affordable Care Act” often suggest skeptics look across the Atlantic to the United Kingdom as an example of what can be made better with the American health care system.

But doctors in the United Kingdom have about had it, it seems, calling their own system “worse than Communist China.”

A recent report in the U.K. Telegraph chronicles the conclusions of the British Medical Association’s annual conference, where doctors loudly lamented the undue power of abusive managers and bureaucrats, who seem to have as much or more power in hospitals than the actual doctors.

“The result is the perfect toxic professional working environment for this explosive mixture to generate disasters such as Mid Staffordshire which did so much harm to patients,” said Dr. Peter Holden, a member of the BMA’s GP negotiating committee.

“Not even in Communist China did they have managers overruling doctors in the operation of hospitals and health services,” he added.
