WASHINGTON – A top U.S. Defense Department analyst under President Bush says ISIS, the Islamic jihadists creating a Muslim caliphate in Iraq and beyond, could use the Mexican border to infiltrate America, and it could happen “sooner rather than later.”

At a time when thousands are crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally each day, the risks might never be higher, said Michael Maloof, now a senior staff writer for WND and expert on the Middle East.

He said there are risks to the economy and the nation’s health. And he warned the Iraq crisis easily could turn into a global issue.

‘In God We Trust’ motto catching fire nationwide – Local governments point to God as solution to problems

In the wake of Michael Newdow’s famous failed legal attempts to remove “In God We Trust” from the public square, local governments increasingly are moving to display the national motto to acknowledge government isn’t the ultimate source of the nation’s prosperity nor the solution to its problems.

More than 370 local governments in 15 states have voted to display the motto, according to an activist group.

Just last week, the Green County Commission in Missouri approved a plan to display “In God We Trust” in commission chambers in the county courthouse.

While some citizens urged commissioners to reject the proposal because it did not “respect religious diversity,” presiding commissioner Jim Viebrock argued the commission couldn’t satisfy everyone; but everyone, regardless of religious belief, is welcome in the county chambers.

New York Times: Ugly for Americans Against Illegal Immigration to Wave American Flags, Chant ‘USA’

On the day before the Fourth of July, the New York Times went out of its way to show its disgust for Americans against illegal immigration in Murrieta, California who turned away buses of illegal immigrants for, of all things, waving American flags and chanting “USA!”

“Nobody was even being released in Murrieta,” the Times‘ editorial board wrote on Thursday. “But the mayor urged residents to complain, and in a pageant of ugliness, dozens took action: They waved flags, screamed ‘U.S.A.!’ and turned three buses back.”

The Times’ editorial urged Obama to “go big” on executive actions by granting amnesty to the parents of so-called anchor babies — children who are born in the country to illegal immigrant parents.

The paper did not mention that pro-amnesty protesters in Murrieta chanted “Viva La Raza!” and waved Mexican flags. They also did not explain why…

This is just totally ridiculous, given that there is not an employer in the world who has the right to make a woman’s health decisions.

Nothing about the latest SCOTUS decision means employers make HEALTH DECISIONS FOR WOMEN.  And the fact that Obama himself, the leader of the free world, would post something like this on FB or have one of his loser interns do it for him is just plain irresponsible.  It’s a lie.  It’s an irresponsible, bold-faced lie.

You know who gets to make health decisions for women?  Women.  If women are not happy with the level of coverage their employer provides them, they get to decide whether or not they want to keep working for that employer.  If women are not happy that their employer has different religious beliefs than they do, they get to decide to work for someone else.

Border Justice: While armed Mexican police and military have crossed the border hundreds of times in recent years, sometimes firing at U.S. agents, a Marine with PTSD spends his Fourth of July in a Mexican jail.

Lately it seems that Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, a Marine who has done two tours in Afghanistan, is the only one President Obama doesn’t want crossing into the United States from Mexico.

We tolerate armed incursions by Mexican authorities and a flood of unaccompanied minors and other illegal aliens but are quite content to let a Marine with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder who made a wrong turn on his way to San Diego twist in the breeze of the Mexican judicial system.
