Her disgusting comments go beyond the pale even for those on the left. To wish that military veterans would lose their arms and legs in war is something that cannot be ignored, and hopefully the left will stand up and discipline their own. Those veterans are someone’s sons, daughters, fathers, and mothers, etc. To wish this on them and their families is truly despicable.

Many baby boomers will leave NY

Albany, N.Y. (AP) — AARP says many Baby Boomers plan to leave New York as they retire and take a slice of the state’s economy with them.

The group says its survey shows 60 percent of working New Yorkers over 50 say they’re likely to go elsewhere in retirement, taking an estimated $105 billion or more of annual spending.

AARP says the statewide survey shows 40 percent worry about paying rent or mortgages, 56 percent are extremely or very worried about paying property taxes, 51 percent worry about utility bills and most are looking for improvements in health care, housing, transportation and jobs for older residents.

Spokesman Erik Kriss says the survey of 407 registered voters has a margin of error of 5 percent. Boomers were born between 1946 and 1964.

Exactly what do we call Obama’s immigration action?

It’s not a law, it’s not a bill, it’s not a mandate…it’s an executive order.

It’s essentially Obama doing a Chippendale-crotch-gyrating g-string flop in the face of Conservative Americans.

Unfortunately for Obama, the g-string fell off and the sock fell out.

Obama has chosen to delay the immigration executive order until after the election. A stay of execution for American citizens and taxpayers; oh, and those who have been waiting to become citizens LEGALLY!

Albany, N.Y. (AP) — New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and liberal challenger Zephyr Teachout are making their closing arguments before Tuesday’s Democratic primary for governor.

Cuomo planned rallies in New York City and outside Buffalo on Monday, while Teachout appeared on the radio and touted proposals to encourage technological innovation.

Cuomo has support from the state’s Democratic Party, powerful unions and heavyweights including New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Hillary Clinton.

Teachout, a Fordham University law professor, has galvanized liberal dissatisfaction with Cuomo, and her bare-bones campaign threatens to upend what many believed would be an easy re-election for Cuomo.

The primary winner faces Republican Rob Astorino this fall. In the Democratic primary for lieutenant governor, Cuomo running mate Kathy Hochul faces Tim Wu, a Columbia University law professor tapped by Teachout.

Fox News’ Special Re-ignites the Benghazi Scandal

Fox News aired new revelations this weekend in its documentary based on the forthcoming book, 13 Hours in Benghazi, but the left is not interested in what it calls old news. Benghazi is a “phony scandal,” right?

In fact, the left is on the defensive about this story, and is releasing salvos from all quarters. The Washington Post, The New York Times, Media Matters, and the Democratic members of the Select Committee have all gotten involved in the effort to dismiss what eyewitnesses have said about what happened that night, sometimes preemptively, as I cited in a previous column. Their message is loud and clear: This has already been investigated thoroughly; both sides agree that there was no wrongdoing other than bureaucratic missteps; this is another Fox News story and a phony scandal at that. Time to move on.

But nothing could be further from the truth.

Our Constitution is so simple that Alexander Hamilton expected us to be “enlightened enough to distinguish between a legal exercise and an illegal usurpation of authority”; and he said the people are “the natural guardians of the Constitution” (Federalist No. 16, next to last para).
Well then, if our Constitution is something The People are expected to know and enforce; is it plausible to assert that the Representatives we send to Washington – and even supreme Court Justices – are incapable of understanding it?
